Come here and chill. Dugan's is a good hangout. It's pretty simple and there's nothing fancy about it. About the biggest action that happens here is darts. The participants get quite competitive with their dart throwing. Besides the darts, people come to drink. It has a very basic selection of beer and liquor. The prices are pretty good for around here mostly. It's $8 for Jameson. There's a pretty limited amount of beers, but there's a few craft selections. As for food there's almost nothing. There's free popcorn. It's thoughtful of them to have it plain without butter. There's a bottle of butter so you can choose whether or not to have it. Good place for fun and games. It also has live music. They also have free stuff.

I'll admit that I was very cranky when I penned my original review. Dugan's is (and, has been) pretty much the only holdout bar of the West Loop. It has withstood the massive change to the demographics of the area. It was a reliable after-work spot, in the same style as places like Dylan's (which sucked, by the end), but the location here meant it was also great for pregames and post-games. At least one quarter of my "memorably bizarre" nights in Chicago started or ended here, including one Halloween in which my buddy, dressed as Borat, and I, dressed as Rambo, crashed through the back door into a private party filled with luchadores.

Always a good time at Dugan's. Darts and some other games in the back, free popcorn, nice bartenders. Usually pretty laid back but it definitely has some busier nights in the summer. Just a good ole neighborhood pub.

The bartender is extremely sensitive and does not belong working at all..... She was on her phone and bothered when talked to about pretty much anything!! If I could leave a "Zero" review, I definitely will do it in a heart beat. I did not bother to ask her name because, at that point, I really didn't care!!

I came here after dinner for a drink with a friend. I got a cider and my friend got a summer shandy. The bar was pretty crowded for a Wednesday night, we weren't able to sit at a table. They have touch tunes, darts, and air hockey to play which is very fun. They also have free popcorn. I just wish there was more seating, there was a lot of dead space in the bar.

Dragana is the best part! Everyone who works here is super nice! Some lady was being super disrespectful to the business and they handled it very professionally A+ ILL BE BACK!

I never ever ever provide a review for any place I go, but I feel like I need to provide one for Dugans. Do not ever order a Stella Artois draft beer here. They proudly serve it with a sippy cup common for a toddler. And charge the full seven/eight dollar amount. I know Stella Artois as it is my favorite beer and it disgusts me that they would charge this much amount for a sippy cup chalice. Was excited to go here as I have not been in years, but so very disappointed. Get it together and get the chalices back in line. For any other Stella people out there, DM me for where to go for a fair pour.

Amazing place...I love the ambiance, the servers/bartenders, Jack M who looks over the place. You can't go wrong stopping in here if you're in the neighborhood. If I could give Dugan's 10 stars, I would!

TLDR: great little dive bar. It's Saturday night and you're tired of overpriced cocktails and talking over electronic music. Come to Dugan's. Will admit, it smelled a little off getting in there. But they have some bar games, decent beer selection, basic liquor and drinks, and it's easy to talk and hear the person next to you. It's not glamorous but I like it that it isn't.

Service was amazing!!! Ricky was great, super friendly and welcoming. We're visiting from Orlando and stopped in for a quick beer and ended up staying for hours. Drinks are god, great prices and nicely decorated.
