Always have the best seafood salads around. Well not sure if I should go as far as stating that comment, but in this area, I am really leary of seafood and El Muelle never disappoints me. When you come in the staff are nice and they usually (even if your doing take out) offer you some of their superb 'caldo de' whatever is the hit of the day. For being in close proximity to a few others in the neighborhood as far as seafood is concerned, they hold their own. And I always know that if I come here, I won't have to wait hours for a table. They also have live bands on various nights so ask about that and enjoy the expeience.

Ill start by saying that the food was overpriced Shrimp with coconut only like 8 small shrimps loaded with coconut cream super sweet and not tasty at all, the salad tasted like it had raw spoiled fish on top of lettuces, ( I hope i dont get sick) a lot of fries to fill the plate, when I got the bill i was charged $14.99 the meal was $13.50. so if for whatever reason you decide to go there check your bill. the only good thing was the service. i will not go back there...not worth it.

Nice place, friendly staff, and most important tasty food.. However the service waiters give you is very poor.. They are unorganized messy (tables would not be cleaned right away) and once they would deliver your food, they will never come back to check on you... NOT ONCE!! First time here with the bf. We got seated quickly since it wasn't busy. Restaurant is not too small could use a update. As soon as we were sat we got tostadas de ceviche. With crackers and extra tostadas on the side. Salsa and limes as well. (All complementary) The tostadas de ceviche were delicious. I ordered camarones a la diabla and my bf a shrimp and octopus cocktail. Let me tell you my dish was big! I had the shrimp smothered in hot spicy red sauce with side of rice, side salad, side of fries, and side of two garlic breads. Delicious all of it! Of course I couldn't finish it all! My bf also enjoyed his shrimp & octopus cocktail! Also if you love piña coladas try one they are delicious! Overall a good experience would definitely come back when we come back to town.

Not a fan of the prices paid $22 for a large of ceviche de pulpo which you can buy for 10 or so less down the street, but quality over quantity right ? With that said, it's a family run joint I was graced by the owner and son. Lovely family lovely business and stellar food :) definitely going to visit next time I'm out that way.

I've been to this place a few times and each time I've walked out satisfied. I've had their Shrimp cocktail, it was pretty damn good, could have used more avocado for my taste but still it was good. I've also had their filete relleno, which is basically seafood wrapped up in a fish fillet, breaded and cooked up. It came with rice, a type of coleslaw (which was tastee) and some other sides, the plate was HUGE! They're langustinos al mojo de ajo are deeelish and the Micheladas are aaaawesooome! The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the last time I ordered a filete relleno, the fish was a little raw. They were quick to replace the dish and very apologetic and polite about it. The next time I go I will definitely get it again.

To start off, this is a Mexican seafood restaurant. The staff speaks Spanish and the menu is in Spanish also. Our waitress did speak English and listed some of the stuff on the menu. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. It came with a side salad, seasoned fries, rice and a piece of toasted bread. The horchata was good but not too sweet. There was so much food I couldn't finish it. I filled up on the fries, which were good. We didn't feel rushed while eating our food. Everything came out pretty fast after we ordered it. When you sit down you are given a tilapia ceviche which was a little spicy and tasted good. One warning, the small container of salsa they put on the table is very, very spicy. Be aware when putting it on your food. I would definitely go back.

Really? 4 and 5 Starts for what? Their dishes are absolutely low level knockoffs of other great seafood restaurants in the area. The first problem with their menu is their menu LOL They threw everything at it but French Crepes and Pizza lol Complete tell sign of a jack of all trades master of absolutely nothing. Keep driving to Mariscos Luis for great seafood this place is awful. I can tell you were to find the authentic version of each one of the dishes they ripped off from other restaurants that truly specialize in making quality seafood. This place is is not good don't be fooled by the facade. I concur with a previous poster about the lack of cooking skills. They are just poor imitations of what they think they ate at other restaurants. Honestly you have to be terrible and out of business if you cant make a decent service or shrimp cocktail. Those two dishes are really no brain's and with any cell of brain matter you can make them. You have to grade a Mexican seafood restaurant from their hot dishes. Their hot dishes are a joke. A bunch of garbage put in a frying pan or dunked in a deep friar. Save yourself the haste unless you want to eat ceviche and shrimp cocktail. They taste the same all around the city lol My suggestion is to keep driving to Mariscos Luis. WAY BETTER HOT DISHES I have been to both several times. El Muelle struggles to stay open its just not on par with the rest of the seafood places in the area.
