Grand Cru has quickly become my favorite wine shop in Chicago. A place to hang out with friends, take classes, try new wines at happy hour, grab a favorite bottle for a night in, or get a food pairing recommendation for BYOB. Matt is very knowledgeable and has curated a great selection at any price point.

I've been so looking forward to this wine bar opening in the neighborhood! We went as soon as I noticed they were up and running to check out the selection- very impressed! Great curated selection and prices are reasonable for the quality on offer. We hung out in the store to try a flight of 3 for each of us. A great deal that will probably be their main selling point. My husband discovered Pet Nat varietal and took a bottle home for himself! It's great to have a place to grab a good unique bottle of wine, welcome to the neighborhood!

My friend and I stumbled upon this place walking home from playing pickleball. Matt was behind the counter and was super helpful in guiding us picking out wine. They also offer wine tastings, and I'm very excited to head back! Great addition to the area!

Walked by here and immediately knew I stumbled upon a great addition to the neighborhood. Upon entry, was greeted with a tasting with some wines they were featuring that evening. Both the owner and the host were very knowledgeable on their offerings and made us feel at home. We then proceeded to sit and have a glass of wine there. They have wines by the glass or you can buy a bottle off the shelf and have it there as well. Fun spot to try with others and just casually hang out over a glass of wine. Also, you can get food delivered there if you decide to stay.

Great ambiance. Stopped in to kill time before dinner and truly found a hidden gem. Just so happened to be free wine tasting going on. Sampled some Italian wines and wound up buying a couple bottles. Definitely worth the trip. Stop in if you're in the area!

Absolutely excellent wine and very cute space! Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and kind! It was a warm day and they had the door open the breeze was beautiful and I can only imagine it in the winter, cozy on the couches. Could not recommend enough!!!!

We tried this friendly and cool wine bar and shop for the first time over the weekend. Matt, the owner, was knowledgeable and led us through a South African wine tasting. We bought a bottle of sparkling Sauvignon blanc. Seems like there will be plenty of wine tastings and we will be very glad to partake in them.

Grand Cru has been the best addition to west town! I celebrated my 27th birthday at Grand Cru and it was the perfect event space, with the best host! The owner Matt is friendly and incredibly knowledgable. Check this place out!
