The Doctor and I were invited to the wedding of a friend of ours that was held at this venue. When we pulled up, I was not sure what to expect as we went into an older building and had to take an escalator to get to the main event. However once we reached the top, there was no need to worry. What a lovely space this was to have an event. There was a reception area for drinks prior to the ceremony. The room was set up nicely with a combination of standing cocktail tables and seating to sit down in. The bar area was set up nicely and was well organized. I was so surprised to see the outdoor space next to the room where the ceremony was held. The room itself was beautiful, but seeing the outdoor greenery made it all the more magical. After the ceremony everyone retired back to the reception area for drinks. I kept trying to figure out where dinner was going to be served. While having drinks, the staff kept walking around with these amazing hors d'oeuvres! I had so many that I almost did not want to have dinner, they were that good. Well color me surprised as the same room we were in for the ceremony was transformed into a dining area, with a second room next to it set up for a band and dancing. The set up for dinner was nice and the food was actually pretty good, I mean clean your plate good. The staff did an excellent job of serving without getting in the way of things. And the speed at which they transformed the room was pretty quick. I am usually not much for wedding events but we had a great time here, in part to the lovely couple, but the venue had a big part to play in it. If I had known about this place and COVID had not been a thing, we could have had The Doctor's 60th here.

Greenhouse Loft was truly a beautiful space for my husband and I to get married! We absolutely loved working with Spencer and Callie, they are so responsive with any questions we had and made the process so easy. The weather was beautiful and all the included amenities were great. We loved that we could customize the venue to exactly what we wanted and make it truly ours for the night. Also, the graphic designer Brian was so quick to turn everything around given the tight window we had and made everything match perfectly. Also, the process of choosing a DJ was great. They matched us with our Dj Mando and he made the night so unforgettable to where our guests couldn't stop raving about the music. Such an amazing venue and staff, I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Yes, I recommend Greenhouse Loft. FabFun was there servicing a client with our open-air Photo Booth, and we were genuinely impressed by the venue. It was clean, the staff was welcoming, and the ambiance was beautiful. A perfect space for any event.

A more beautiful venue does not exist, we're convinced! From the bright airy windows in the ceremony/reception space, to the large dancefloor, to the art gallery cocktail hour space, to the greenery-filled outdoor garden space, this venue was perfect for our fall wedding! We knew we would likely be enjoying the inside space more predominantly than the outside given the questionable Chicago November weather, but the outdoor space was still much appreciated by our guests who wanted a moment to cool off after breaking it down on the dance floor. We even got some fun night photos as the bride and groom as our photographer was heading out! Spencer was the most amazing venue owner we could have hoped to work with, and was incredibly responsive and flexible throughout the whole process. Like super super responsive. I don't think we ever waited more than a day for an email response from him and gave off this air that as long as a request was reasonable, the sky was the limit for our special day! From our first tour we knew this was the space for us, but every day after just reaffirmed our choice. Almost all of our vendors that we selected ended up having nothing but amazing things to say about the venue and Spencer, and them all knowing eachother definitely made things easier. We had the most incredible venue coordinator on our day, who worked so well with our day-of coordinator and other vendors we felt super comfortable that the whole team could handle any curve ball thrown their way. The space was the perfect size for the seating chart we were hoping for, and the attention to detail was so appreciated (like making the parent's table was perfectly perpendicular to the sweetheart table). We could not recommend this venue or Spencer more!

Lovely space and lovely people. Big windows let in all kinds of light and so Winter weddings (when you can't enjoy the outdoor space) are magical.

We booked the Greenhouse Loft for our 55 person wedding ceremony and reception in December 2022 and could not have been more pleased with the experience! The space was perfect for us and didn't need a lot of decoration to make the venue look incredible. Spencer was very helpful throughout the set-up process and event. We were also thrilled that we could use our own vendors, including using Binny's for the alcohol. For the reception, we combined 2 of the provided tables together to make wider tables and had 6 of those, a 7-piece band, and a dance floor that fit all our guests in the larger section of the main room. The Art Gallery space next to the main room was perfect for the cocktail hour and could have easily fit more than twice as many people. Our guests loved the photo booth, which printed out a strip of 4 photos. No props were provided, but we brought our own and it was great! We also appreciated the included outdoor parking for our guests that drove to the wedding. DJ Duke (provided by the venue) was great and kept us dancing after the band finished their set. We would absolutely recommend booking your wedding at Greenhouse Loft.

Greenhouse Loft is an amazing event space. PERIOD. Spencer and crew are some of the most professional in the city. I recently threw my wife a virtual 40th birthday party there. Due to Covid, we had to approach this very differently. All our friends had to join us virtually to keep a safe and fun environment. Thanks to Spencer everything went above and beyond my expectations. For a night with a guest list of two people, it still felt like a big celebration and very safe. Thanks to Greenhouse Loft's state-of-the-art AV setup, I was able to patch in our friends and family via Zoom on Greenhouse Loft's video wall. We booked our wedding DJ for the night and it sounded amazing through the Void sound system. The flowers, table design, and food all looked fantastic in the space. The clean modern environment is bright, warm, and timeless. I can't praise Spencer and his crew at Greenhouse Loft enough. One of the best looking and professional venues in the city.

can I give this place 0 stars? they charged me 6 grand for a small wedding, no food, had to pay extra for a bartender even though we only served beer and wine. then SURPRISE we had to clean the place at the end of the night. place was ok looking but not worth the money or the aggravation. I will never use them again. also I thought the neighborhood was trendy and safe, nope

Even though we ended up not choosing Greenhouse as our wedding venue, this is an absolutely GORGEOUS space with the kindest people running it. It was a tough decision not to choose Greenhouse, and quite honestly I would have been 100% happy here. They do have an option of seven caterers that you have to choose from, and that was really the only downfall. Tacking on $12,000 minimum for food on top of the $5,000 rental fee at Greenhouse already started us at high preliminary costs without any of the customizations that I wanted to make my wedding my own. However, tables, chairs and linens are all included in the Greenhouse cost, as well as exclusive access to the outdoor and indoor space, which has TONS of natural lighting. Not the best views, as it is just office space surrounding you, but it is still green nonetheless! If you're not picky about catering or are willing to spend $$$ for all of the unique customizations, I would HIGHLY consider choosing Greenhouse!
