Tacos are typically amazing quality, tonight I was disappointed. Food seemed reheated and not fresh. The elote was awful, do not order this item! It's made from frozen elote and not a freshly cooked one - zero taste and watery. I hope L'Patron goes back to quality food, it was an amazing experience the first few times we've eaten there, debating a follow up visit...

Ambiance- so cute in here, very family friendly and vibrant! I'd definitely come here with a group for a birthday Food- so fresh!! from the chips, to the guacamole to the tacos. Everything is made to order and some of the best tacos i've had!! We will definitely be back!

So I heard about L Patron on a independent food reviewer YouTube channel , focusing on the best taco in Chicago ,Well just so happens L"Patron won according to the show so I had to check it out , my favorite is El Milagro in Little village so I'm always looking for someone to beat it, Even though it was a great taco , I'm Not on board , I had 4 steak tacos , reason for 4 is they are fairly small at 4.50 a piece , The steak was tender and of a higher quality so I'll give them that , I also had rice and beans which were served in a cup and kept in a glass holder , ready for purchase , good but just ok. , The staff was friendly enough and the ambience of the restaurant is colorful and comfortable , I can't help but mention this is my second time coming here, first time was a flop because they have the hours listed til 11 pm and I showed up at 9:30 , and it was closed , then the second night I went , figuring the 1st night was just a fluke , I tcaught them before they closed the doors once again at 930 , I would of been pretty upset if I took the drive out of my way , only to find out they were closed before the scheduled closing time , that's just rude and unprofessional

Finally made it here after a local influencer named their carne asada the best in the city... Wow wow wow We ordered drinks which were on happy hour. I loved the sangria. Guacamole was flavorful and fresh and I would definitely order again. We had a mix of tacos. I really enjoyed the poblano and cheese, and the pork shoulder (a secret surprise delight, definitely try it). The carne asada was very very good but not quite to #1 status to me. Nevertheless I would return again and again because overall the meal was delicious and a good value. Service was solid although the team seemed spread thin. Very cute decor and vibe inside, would be great for a group night out.

Our mission to find amazing tacos lead us to L' Patron. We were out grocery shopping and decided to pop in for a quick lunch. The wait staff was friendly and we were sat immediately. The place was pretty packed for a Sunday afternoon. There was a nice size dining room with probably 10-12 tables. We ordered watermelon margaritas which were bomb. I ordered 3 asada tacos and my wife got an asada and fish taco. The asada was super tender and marinated well. I could've used a little more char but overall still an amazing taco. They really stuff these bad boys to the brim. My wife said that the fish tacos were some of the best she's had in the city. We will definitely be back and I encourage you to stop in as well!

Good quality meat only redeemable quality, portions are horrendous! Prices are not worth it. Hype focused on presentation. Go anywhere else......... If you know good Mexican food for good prices you will be disappointed!!!! Look my empty burrito, it's sad! Rice and beans was $4 plus tax plus & debit fee of 3%!!! No split checks!!! Even for two!!! I would give 2.5 but it won't let me, only because the tortas $12....

This local Mexican joint is so colorful and cute inside, along with great food! The service was the best part and the waitress was very kind! My ribeye burrito was very flavorful and juicy. Highly recommend!
