Had a layover here in Terminal 3 that turned longer due to delays. But the terminal is clean, modern, with seating options at gate, clean restrooms, water stations, various food options and corky popcorn machines around, which I've never seen anywhere else. Personal was nice enough, O'Hare seemed better this time around, not as crowded as I have experienced it before.

I'm in the Rotunda. Never been up here before because I'm usually hustling from one flight to the next. But I haven't renewed my lounge pass and was looking for a great spot to eat my empanada. I love it up here! Lots of seating, tall windows to watch the airplanes and it's not terribly crowded.

O'Hare what can I say about this airport. It is big and I don't think I would avoid an international arrival with a connection here. When we landed from Japan, we had 2 hours and half to connect to our next flight. We went through customs quickly (thanks to Global Entry) and after we dropped our bags for our connecting flight, we ran into a surprise. We had to exit the area to get to our terminal and go through security again! Thankfully, with TSA pre wait was minimal but someone who doesn't have that and needs to make a connection can be tight. I guess I'm used to connecting in Atlanta where you don't exit the area and there's an internal TSA area for connecting flights. Overall, the airport is not bad. It has plenty of food options. Restrooms were not too clean.

I expected to do a lot of walking but I have to point out some areas were poorly marked for those taking a transfer. I finally reached gate L12 in terminal 3 and it looked like it hasn't seen the cleaning crew in days. It was filthy, floors not swept. Not enough charging areas for such busy airport.

O'hare airport is very old and dated. For such a busy airport in the middle of the country it is very lacking. The food options were underwhelming. I hope they will make improvements to the airport soon.

I saw this listing for Terminal 3 at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). I've been there. I've never done a review until now. Why haven't I done a review or figured out that this listing exists? If I am flying into ORD Terminal 3, chances are that my flight was cancelled and I've been put on a two-segment flight from Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) to Toronto (YYZ) through ORD. American Airlines flies from MSP to ORD. When I'm flying this segment, I'm catching a 6 am flight or even earlier. By the time I land at this terminal, I am doing a day excursion to get to my connecting flight. My flight tends to land at some K gate in this terminal. I need to make a terminal change from 3 to 2. Walking to get to my connecting United Airlines (cross-listed with Air Canada) takes roughly twenty minutes. It includes using the moving walkways (thank goodness they exist) without making any stops along the way. I tend to use the washroom somewhere in this terminal. Priorities! I like that the women's washrooms are nicely maintained and clean. If I have a chance, I will get a large bag of Garrett's Popcorn as I am moving from one terminal to the next. It is the best. Signage is clear. It's the long walk that is a blessing if you want to get steps in. This walk is also a curse if your layover is short and you have a connecting flight that isn't in the same terminal. I continue to have a love-hate relationship with O'Hare. I am grateful for this terminal to get me back to YYZ thanks to a cancelled flight between MSP and YYZ. (100)

I go through Terminal 3 yearly, since I fly American when I go out of O'Hare. It's not that bad, and easy enough to go to from downtown, but I usually find myself in traffic, which is not to the fault of Terminal 3. I find Terminal 3 to be easily navigable, and it has plenty of food and drink options. There's a large food court area, which is nice, and plenty of other locations spread out throughout the gates.

While back I had to fly in and out of this airport. Never ever will I want to go through this place. Yes it's huge international Airport, and people will help you. However it was not pleasant going or coming. Specially returning from international flight it was awful. My friend had a wheelchair assistance and we had to go through separate passport controls, and got separated. One nice lady had seen us together at the arrival gate and while I was waiting for my fried, the lady told me that she saw them wheeling my fried through the passport control and to the domestic departure gates. If she did not tell me this, I might have missed my flight. Horrible place. I don't ever even want to go to Chicago.

Terminal 3 is a large hub for American airlines departures. There's a large food court with many options to choose like McDonald's, O'Briens, Manchu Wok, Reggio's pizza, etc. Be prepared to do alot of walking here as the terminal has a large footprint. There are no movators here to reduce the walking. Our flight was departed about 1 hour late due to maintenance on the plane and planes lined up on the runway for take off. If you fly from O'Hare or have a connection flight be sure to pickup your check-in luggage and get through Passport control asap. Our layover was 4 hours 50 minutes so we weren't in a rush.

O'Hare is one of the main and biggest airports here in the Chicago area. And it is also notoriously known for delays. but this trip in and out went flawlessly and there are no issues at all. what I like most about O'Hare is that there is a Subway line, the blue line, where you are able to get into downtown fairly easily for only a few dollars. When it was time for me to fly out of Chicago, there was some confusion about what TSA gate to use. In between each terminal in there are a number of security checkpoints that you can go through. Some are exclusively TSA PreCheck lines. and oftentimes a lot of the passengers wouldn't necessarily read the signs and they would have to go and wait until the longer more congested lines. Luckily I do have PreCheck and it was a breeze after I found the pre-check line. There are also a lot of good eateries inside the airport and that is always a plus especially if you have to kill some time in the airport.
