The pupusas here are so damn good! I came here on my own during a quiet Monday, I was the only one there but soon a few take out orders came and another table sat down. The service was great, attentive but not overbearing. I got a cheese pupusa and a mixed one. The cheese was really good but the mixed one was out of this world flavorful! They also had 2 sauces that greatly complimented the pupusas. I'd definitely come back and order other things off the menu. The ambiance is quiet with tasteful decor.

This place is very family-friendly, the pupusas were delicious. I usually have a hard time finding great pupusas in Chicago but I can vouch for these. I go often to El Salvador, so if you've had them in ES, you will enjoy it here.

This place is a true hidden gem! This place specializes in Salvadoran style pupusas, and I was so excited to try this place with a couple of friends. It's a classic family run hole in the wall restaurant, featuring some simple groceries inside as well as a restaurant. The service was really friendly, but the start of the show here was the food. The pupusas came out fresh; I tried an assortment and was so full by the end. The tostones were also great. Great value overall here, would definitely recommend trying if looking for authentic Salvadoran pupusas!

Discovered this place as we were walking by about a month ago. After this, we have been there at least 3 times since! It is a little hole in the wall hidden gem. The food is so flavorful and amazing. Pupusas taste so genuine and all that comes with them too. We usually get a couple pupusas and a dish to share. The Nicaraguan Carne asada and Caldo de Mariscos are my favorite. They make everything from scratch so you need a little patience, the wait is not bad at all. Our server is always great and very nice. Overall, this has become one of my favorite places to get pupusas.

Siempre me han gustado pupusas pero nunca me acuerdo haber disfrutado uno tanto como los disfrute aquí. El lugar estaba ocupado por la hora que fuimos entonces esperamos que tenia que ser rico. Nuestra moza nos atendió muy bien y contestó todas las preguntas que tuvimos. Habían varias opciones y para mi fueron precios muy cómodos. Cada uno ordenó 2 pupusas y eso fue regular de comida. Su repollo lo terminamos al toque y tuvimos que pedir mas porque nos gustó mucho. El menú tiene varias opciones entonces espero regresar aquí muy pronto

I am Salvadoran and I know that it is very difficult to bring the original flavor, especially the pupusas, but definitely, the only thing similar to the pupusas when trying them was that they were round, I think they should put more effort into the flavor, better preparation of the ingredients Arian, a big difference is my advice to the preparer, a little more love I would say, I have tried from other places and without a doubt these were the worst pupusas in Chicago.

Yummy comfort food. I highly recommend the pupusas and nacatamal. The sopa de pollo is great if you have a cold (note- the chicken is still on the bone). The service is straightforward and friendly. Spanish is predominantly spoken, but will flip to English if needed. The ambiance is relaxed and warm, decorated with items from Central America.

Best pupusas in the city. If you like this type of food or never even tried it you deserve to make the trip to this small family run restaurant. Call ahead to make sure they are open. Fresh juices are delicious and sell out constantly. Delicious pupusas, soups, seafood and combination plates. We have been coming here for a while but I'm reviewing now because they have really been hitting it out of the park lately. Also a great value. Dinner for two is usually between 25 and 35. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Pupupas are always hot and delicious. I always get the steak ones but the usual revueltas are also good. Been going there for years and have not been disappointed with food. They give two sauces and curtido (coleslaw) with the darker sauce being spicier. Usually do take out and food still hot when I get them home.

Garbage Rip off ... No receipt was given to me after I paid. Went home the food wasn't even seasoned right $18.00 I can eat better at better restaurants, sht ! Olive Garden would blow this place away for the money . Very angry and disappointing. They should close this place down.
