Instead of heading home for the Super Bowl bc we couldn't find a hotel in the state of Louisiana, we headed to Chicago where we hoped to find Eagles fans. We made a reservation at Over/Under. When we arrived, there weren't a lot of people yet and we got seated quickly at a table already set up with our name on it and lots of fun swag. By the time the game was starting, it was packed. TV's lined the walls all the way around so every table was a good table. No one blocked our view. We each received 5 drink tickets and 2 meal tickets. In addition to the fact that we wiped the floor with Kansas, we met some really nice fans from Chicago. They made our visit so much fun, filled with endless laughter and a great time. It was a nice mix of young and older folks like us and the young people were so respectful and friendly. It truly was a pleasant surprise. They gave us their bar stools with backs so that we would be comfortable. I don't know if Steven David, who we also met there works for the bar but he was funny as all get out. He says he's a comedian so if you're in Chicago, look for him at a comedy club. The owners were very friendly and we appreciated chatting with them too. We didn't get to our second meal or order half of our drinks bc we were having such a good time so we gave them away. The pretzels were good and nachos weren't bad. Edible. They also offered free opps for prizes and you could also buy tickets to win prizes. Overall, we really enjoyed our time. Nice neighborhood bar feel, surrounded by great humans, including the owners.

The service here was phenomenal, I loved our waitress!! She could tell that I was uncomfortable at the table the guy at the door told us to sit at and moved us to a larger table with much more comfortable chairs without me having to ask. When I asked for a specific game to be put on, they made sure to put it on a a few tvs within eyesight of our table. The big vodka soda was so refreshing, I was very happen with this drink. The tater tots had a great crunch and were perfectly salted...I ate them all by myself! Lots of tvs for different games to be on so it's a great spot to watch a sports game! It's also much bigger than the outside appearance.

Sunday funday is on a different level here! They bring the vibes of a Vegas Sportsbook right here to Chicago! You can place bets and enjoy drinks along with food specials like their $4, 6, 8 and $10 happy hour deals or the $8 and $10 large drinks. There are tvs EVERYWHERE so you're able to not miss a game and watch multiple sports at once. My brother and I tried a few menu items, but our favorites were definitely the wings with the Dragon sauce (sweet chili, sesame, soy and ginger) and the sautéed shrimp with potatoes. Be sure to try their cocktail called "Uncut Gem" and check out the Red Zone room! Enjoy!

What a gem of a sports bar! The owner is hands on and made a point to check-in with each table. We had a larger group, and he went above and beyond to be accommodate us! If you're looking for a nice, clean establishment with great deals on game days, Over/Under is the place to be!

There are a lot of bars in Chicago to watch sports. There are especially a lot of bars in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area to drink and watch sports as well. However, not many of them have an great sports and betting centric focus like Over/Under Sports Bar. First, this a sports fan's dream. While it may look small from out the outside, the bar has three large rooms. On the night I went, I was in the front room. I went for Monday Night Football, and the experience was great. The entire place, including the other rooms are lined with a lot of TVs, and they playing all sorts of sports. I also watch playoff baseball that night. I'm not a gambler, but if you are you will feel right at home. They even have game odds posted on big screen TVs throughout the bar. Second, their food was amazing. With all TVs and the fun atmosphere it would be easy to punt on the food quality (pun intended), but they didn't. The night I went, ordered the Kingpin cocktail, a Cheeseburger, the Montana (a specialty cheeseburger), chorizo queso dip and the habbeque wings. My favorites were the Montana and the habbeque wings. If you like spicy, you'll love both of these dishes. The Montana featured spicy Jack cheese and some sort of hot sauce with two hamburger Patties. The habbeque was the perfect a cross between bbq and hot wings. Third, the service was great. My waitress was friendly, refilled my water many times and brought out the food quickly. In sum, this a must visit bar for the sports fan.

Had such a fun time having a few beers during March Madness and service was stellar, that we came back to watch some baseball and try the food. The space itself reminds me of a Vegas sports book - tons of TVs with quality screens and sports info scrolling on digital boards. While you can't bet direct with the bar we all can on our phones. The food did not disappoint one bit! Everything we ordered was delicious. Can't wait to come back to try more of the menu.

Cool place! Tons of tvs, catch any game you want. Spots betting lines. Super cool. Food was good bar food. I got the o/u burger and fries, my friend got the chicken sandwich. Both were tasty and the fries were good. Owner is nice. Good people there. Parking on Halsted st if needed. Close to diversy stop (5min walk). Our waitress was super nice. She made it enjoyable as well. We will be back to catch some games!

Over/Under was a fine sports bar. I was there with a group to watch March Madness. One thing that was annoying was that instead of having all four basketball games on the first day of March Madness, half of the TVs were on sports betting odds for unrelated sports (Heisman Award, NHL, Formula1). I get that their theme is betting, but for a major sporting event, I wish they would have had it on all TVs. The food was decent, standard bar food. Nachos were not great--not very much cheese. The standout was actually the side salad. It reminded us of the Portillos chopped salad with garbanzo beans, pasta, tomato, onion, and more. Pretzel bites were weirdly oily/wet. The service was fine, not the best but standard for a sports bar.
