Coffee was too expensive compared to other nearby cafe Did not like the taste. It was a Saturday morning and drip coffee was not hot enough . Ambience was just ok Will give another try

I had high hopes with all the great reviews, but was let down. The coffee was just okay and the empanada was fine, a bit dry. We tried: - Coconut Cream Iced - Dulce De Leche Latte - Chicken Empanada The place had plenty of seating and staff were nice though!

Cute coffee shop with lots of seating so great for getting some work done! What really sold me here were the empanadas, love a coffee and empanada combo in the morning. You'll have to try the latte with the sausage, egg and cheese empanada. Perfect size for a quick bite! Pro tip! Start the day here before going to do your morning activities. The perfect amount to fuel up before brunch!

I've lived in the neighborhood for years and finally got around to checking this place out. Absolutely amazing. I got a latte, pao de queijo and a chicken empanada. All were fantastic- especially the empanada which had nice chunks of chicken in it. Sometimes empanada dough can be too heavy or bready but theirs was absolutely perfect. Only thing missing was they were out of chimichurri sauce when I came in. The empanada could have used a little sauce but I took it home and used my own hot sauce. Perfection. Definitely worth checking out for your morning stop.

I like this place a lot! I'm glad it's apart of the neighborhood since the area is generally lacking in third space type coffee shops. There are always people in here doing their thing/working. I've come in with my laptop a couple times and done the same and overall it's a good environment since it never seems too busy. I think the lattes I have gotten have been good but I wont lie, it tends to be a little pricey. Although I rather have an expensive coffee here than at Starbucks. I've only tried the empanadas once through a TooGooToGo bag, and I thought they were okay but take that with a grain of salt.

PiniPico Brazilian Café brings the warm spirit of Brazil to Chicago. It's a cute little cafe with an outdoor patio seating as well. Didn't try any food but the fresh guava juice was delicious and refreshing. My friend did try the food and were very pleased with the empanadas! It's a self service cafe with helpful staff.

A cute little gem! Tried the iced coconut latte and I was worried about if it'd be too sweet or taste too artificial and the barista suggested we try half sweetener to start and it was delish! They were out of empanadas but got to try the chicken empadas (comparable to a mini pot pie) and it was great. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.

Nice Brazilian place in Lincoln Park for snacks and coffee. The cheese bread/ball (Pao De Queijo) is gluten free and for $2.25 it was good even if was small like 1.5" diameter. The beef empanada $5.75 was good but a bit salty, the dough was a bit thick (a bit much) although they had a good amount of meat but the dough overpowered the empanada. A bit pricey but the location is great. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the place has a lot of space. Right across the street from the Chicago history museum and the Latin School so it's a nice location to go to after the museum.

The barista was very nice and I could tell he went out of his way to assist customers. They do have a decent amount of seating inside and outside.
