I'm good on this place. Ordered a sandwich & made sure to say 3 times "Light on the aioli." "You said aioli?" "Yes, light." Proceeds to douse it with aioli. Bottom of the sandwich fell out bc it was mostly liquid. The tables were so sticky. Cookies were decent though.

Typical sandwich shop, but they have some unique options. I got a salad that was delicious and so fresh. You really can't go wrong with your choices here. Service is very fast and friendly. Comfortable and sufficient seating.

After a debate between either Potbelly Sandwich Shop or Panera Bread among me and my colleagues, Potbelly became our option and later one of our ordering trends for lunch. I believe Potbelly was the first ever Chicago restaurant I ever ate at while visiting the city back in 2008. Since then, I have seen them scattered throughout the city, but rarely had the interest in eating at any of them. Most of that was because I was not that familiar with its menu, but while ordering with my colleagues it gave me the chance to explore its menu online. I love the ordering online method because it allows you to put together the toppings yourself, as well as watching the calories grow as you add certain items. Its beneficial if you are that person that avidly tracks calories. And with the ordering online method by the time I make it to the store my order is complete, and all I simply do is pick it up and leave, like a boss! Hehe. While picking up our order, I was intrigued by its inner restaurant interior which has an old-fashioned feel to it. And I took interest in its antique Oakland cast iron stove by Wehrle Co, which sat by the fountain drink station. The menu consists of several sandwiches, salads, sides, soups, desserts, shakes, smoothies, beverages, and breakfast options. And as I share this review other than ordering with my colleagues, I have ordered here on two separate occasions, with the first order being the peanut butter & jelly sandwich and a uptown salad which the interest in the uptown salad stemmed from my colleagues ordering it a few times. And on a later date, I ordered the pizza sandwich. During each visit, each of my ordered items were equally delicious. The parking at this location is not bad! It coincides with the amount of seating it has inside. In closing, I say that for the time being my individual experiences with this location, as well as with my colleagues have been nothing less than great. And any discrepancies with our orders were respectfully corrected and replaced, which is always sits well with me. I most definitely recommend! Thomas G

Friendly staff and quick service! Nothing really more you can ask from a Potbelly's location. My favorite is the turkey sandwich with regular bread (I recently realized that I hate the wheat bread here after ordering it for so many years and comparing it to the white bread) and some giardiniera peppers and you're good to go! Cookies here are bomb too if you're in the mood for one.

Ordered a CHICKEN Uptown salad with bacon and avocado. Ended up with an uptown salad no chicken no bacon and rotten avocado LOL never ordering from here again

This is the second time I've ordered a customized vegetarian sandwich from this potbelly. I make it a point to not get mushrooms as I cannot eat them. This is the second time that they have put a TON of mushrooms on this sandwich. They got all the other customization correct, why not that one? The first time this happened the guy said "oh just come in and we'll make you a new one" I explained that I can't since I order in my lunch break at work.. and it was pretty much 'oh well'. This time, my coworker picked up the sandwiches right before closing so there's no one to call. I'm pretty sure I'm done with this potbelly at this point which is disappointing because I truly enjoy their sandwiches.

My husband and I loved eat there a lot. Specially when take our kids. I'm little sad took off my turkey club sandwich that's my favorite sandwich. But I still have chill and pickle there.

I'm a fan of most Potbelly Sandwich shops in Chicago. This one is closest to home but not always first on my list. I do prefer the location on Harlem at 57th as its super clean and more friendly. My most recent visit iwas after seeing a movie at the remodeled Ford City AMC 14. Since this is just at the other end of the mall it seemed silly to drive elsewhere. It was about 6:30pm and there were just five other customers there. While they are busier during a weekday lunch it still never gets too busy. I very often have a chocolate malt with my sandwich (remember to order those first) and this time I also picked a bag of chips. I had the Wreck sandwich with feta cheese in place of Swiss. The sandwich was delicious as always but the malt was made with too much milk and not enough malt powder. I'm picky about my malts and this location is very inconsistent. This is where they lost a star. The employees here are friendly but not engaging and funny with the customers as some other locations. I did see that the employees were laughing regularly when they weren't helping customers. What an easy change to make to increase the level of customer interaction. The restaurant was spotless from the soda station to the seating area and the restrooms. Not every location accomplishes being this clean and that's a big plus here. Before we left (after chatting for two hours and observing the employees) I decided to grab a delicious Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie. I rarely eat it here so that I can take it home and microwave it for 15 seconds. That melting chocolate in with the warm soft oatmeal is outstanding. I recommend this spot if you're in the area. Most aspects are pretty good and the cleanliness behind the counter and in the customer area is a big plus.
