Let me start by this, don't judge a book by its cover. We contacted DJ Lopez about two months before our daughter's Quinceañera this past weekend. He was direct, communicated immediately with all the details and requirements. He was patient and understanding with all of our requests. The DJ was to start playing at 7:30 pm and they were at the event hall before 5 pm setting up. I was nervous and stressed but every time I spoke with DJ Lopez he calmed me down and reassured me that everything was goingo be perfect and indeed it was. There was a Bobblehead of Bad Bunny that came out and livened the party up. The cold sparkles gave it an amazing touch. Being all over the place I wasn't able to get the slide show photos to him until 2 days before and without any hiccups, the slideshow was perfect and made every smile, laugh and cry. I have to say that the kids' dances went on without a glitch and the dancefloor didn't stop nor empty for single second all night. DJ Lopez I read the other reviews, I was hesitant but I have to tell you that you knocked it out of the park, with EVERYTHING. We will see you again in 2 years for the next and final 15era. You are a true professional and we owe you so much of our happiness and satisfaction for our special night.

Dj Lopez was recommend by the banquet I booked my daughters Quinceanera. A friend had also seen him preform at a local bar and was happy with his performance. I spoke to junior Lopez 4 times before signing my contract in person, and also other companies. Being that he came recommended by the banquet I picked him. 6 months prior to my daughters BIG party, we met and signed the contract and I paid him half of what the total would be. Party was on February 9th 2019. He told me he would want about 100 photos for my daughters slide show, schedule, song recommendations etc. 1-2 months before the party. He never checked in with me, which was the first sign of a disaster. I was the one that contacted him a month prior to party, asking if I can pay him the remaining money due and if we could talk about the photos, schedule etc. . It took him several days to get back to me. When he got back to me(3 1/2 WEEKS BEFORE THE PARTY) he said he miss looked and already had another party for that day and had to cancel my daughters party of 200 people. I asked him how this was possible being that there is sooo many ways to document a costumers deal such as a paper calendar, phone calendar, business documents etc. He gave me an excuse of not seeing the paper contract of the booked event. I guess he only goes by the sheet of contract with is obviously a lie. I get it, he probably got a better deal at the restaurants or club he Dj's at. I was obviously already upset with him but I was more upset that he NEVER apologized. He just spoke in a Boring tone voice and pretty much had a "it is what it is" attitude. A more professional, business owner phone call should have gone something like this... "I am so embarrassed and sorry this happened but guess what, I spoke to another dj that is similar to me and I would love for you to see his Facebook page , you will love him, and I want you to meet him ASAP if possible" He never apologized and is a horrible business owner! Good lucky if you have him booked. He does dj on Friday and Saturday at local bar and restaurants in which is where he was on the day he said he got over booked.

I should have known better. This company didn't have a yelp page for a reason. I hired Fidel 'Jr' Lopez for my wedding, and it was a nightmare. He absolutely ruined most of my wedding. Let me start from the beginning here.. We met w/ Jr. Lopez, whom is also a radio DJ (we heard great things about him from family friends...) I asked him very clearly, if i give him a list of songs, can he play them? I know some DJ's can be super touchy about that which is why I made it very clear that I have a list of about 30 songs that MUST be played before hiring anyone. He was enthusiastic and said yes, of course anything you want. So we signed the contract. Now, we only needed him to play for two hours really since we had bands covering most of the night but we of course wanted him there for backup the entire night and he also convinced us to purchase lighting from him. About three weeks before the wedding, I asked when he needs all my info to him (first dance, etc, etc) he said whenever he'll make it happen. He seemed great at first, super flexible. Even told me that I don't need to pick the color of the lights until the day of if I really couldn't decide. So about 5 days before the wedding, I sent him a list. The list was pretty easy I mean all very popular songs (spice girls, selena, beyonce) VERY common songs. I told him that the songs all hold some sort of meaning and are important, he responded "don't worry about a thing, it'll be great". I felt reassured, but shouldn't have. Our first song was "Die w/ you" by Beyonce. Now, this song is a Tidal exclusive, but I thought he would research before hand be prepared. For some reason two days before I had a gut feeling. So I emailed him, and asked if the song was okay if he had a Tidal or if we'd need to pick a different song.. no response. I assumed it was all okay. So the day comes and its a nightmare from the start. He was playing Norah Jones to start the night........ norah jones is not even remotely close to my list. I though to myself, maybe just a mistake, oh well I can deal w/ this. Our planner came by to tell us the first dance would start in 4 minutes, so I stopped drinking and eating and prepped myself. 20 minutes pass, 30 minutes pass, no we are WAY behind on schedule and I'm confused what's happening. My MOH goes to talk to him, apparently he never downloaded the song and was trying to download now but couldn't figure out what version. Seriously? My poor planner was going crazy trying to get him to move, about 10 more minutes pass after he told my MOH he got the song and would announce first since (he never did) so my husband and I had to get up DURING DINNER to go talk to him, how embarrassing is that??? He made me LISTEN TO THE SONG to approve it and refused to play until I did... cringe. It's all downhill from here, people. In short, the rest of the night he player ZERO of the songs I wanted, he didn't know my dads name, kept announcing his name incorrectly (which will be on video... cool), my husband had to tell him MULTIPLE times to play the songs I asked him to, he ignored him EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I burst into tears because of how terrible the music was. Nothing can change the awkward dance floor on my wedding, him not even pronouncing my dad's name correctly (or even having the right name), and the terrible timeline which made everything else feel rushed. He absolutely ruined so much of the wedding for not just me, but my husband, our guests, our family, everyone. AFTER ALL OF THIS, his VERY LAST SET he played TWO SONGS that I asked for.. TWO... and had the AUDACITY to come up to me and say "was that better". Seriously? I was crying because of how terrible you were!! You didn't play my deceased mom's favorite song, my mother in law's favorite song, the song that ALL FOR ONE SANG LIVE FOR JOSE AND I WHEN WE WERE IN ENGAGED. Anyway, don't hire this guy, he's a jerk.

The best DJ in Chicago! He was the DJ in my wedding and everybody was surprised, he really knows what his job. The sound and lights were amazing and he was the MC too. I recommend Jr Lopez DJ all the time.

AMAZING!! PremierDjs was absolutely fantastic! Jr Lopez helped me along the way through the entire planning process, always promptly answered my emails, I didn't worry once on my wedding day and he really got my crowd of friends and family up and dancing, thanks for a great day!
