Website said they offer aura readings. Called and a lady who sounded like she barely woke up said they don't offer aura readings in a rude tone. Then I asked if there is anywhere else in Chicago they do aura readings and she said no and hung up! Not sure what her issue was but clearly she wasn't having a good day and taking it out on customers.

My friends and I made appointments to get readings on my friend's birthday. When we arrived a few minutes before our scheduled time, Lida told us she had double booked and we would have to wait. We waited outside for a few minutes and then she came back out and said that she actually accidentally booked us at her second location and wouldn't be able to take us at the location we were at (Old Town). She then told us to go to the second location a few blocks away and we could be seen by the psychic there. She called the other location and confirmed we would be seen. So we walked 10 minutes to the other place and when we got there the other psychic (who said she was Lida's daughter) told us we would have to wait an hour to be seen. At this point we just decided to leave as we were disappointed and frustrated that even though we called ahead/planned accordingly, the mother-daughter duo did not.

I got a chakra reading for Lida in which she was spot on with how I have been feeling lately. Actually a better way to explain it is she was spot on with how I haven't been feeling lately. I could tell something was off internally and mentally but when she did my reading she gave me a better insight as to what was off which in turn made me realize why. She is very intuitive and sweet. Her shop is set up very cozy too which helps you feel more relaxed and open to the energy around you. I recommend giving her a visit!

I was very excited for my visit to Old Town Chakra but, unfortunately, left with a bad taste in my mouth. I made an appointment to go with a few close friends. We were caught very off-guard when we were told that our readings would be $50 apiece (rather than the $25 advertised outside the front door.) The owner said this was because she stayed late for us, but we came at our scheduled time during regular business hours. When we then asked if we could use one of the available coupons on display, she said no but recommended that we schedule an appointment for additional services and apply the coupon to that future visit. It felt so blatantly shifty, and we left $150 lighter, feeling very foolish.
