This place IS NO LONGER HERE. It is just a holiday inn hotel. The hotel provides a very small and limited breakfast

Went there for the second time just to give them the benefit. First time order scram eggs with bacon. The waiter brought me soft scramble eggs. I instead order oatmeal nasty hard was not cooked all the way. The waiter even mentioned next time you come in its on me. Well went in menu is different, I was happy maybe things changed. So I order coffee, oatmeal and toast. Forgot to mention this items where considered sides. So coffee was weak, oatmeal was hard again not well cook, toast was not well toasted. Never again will I eat there...

*sigh* I was really wanting to like this place, especially in its good location. But service, food quality, staff (except for one lady) were so off par I would be livid if I was the owner. I was seated by a gentleman from the host desk and then a waiter came to me and said I had to move because "his" customer was sitting there. (I think we're all your customers no?) Then I politely asked where could I move to since I didn't want to accidentally sit in anyone else's seat and he responded, "I don't know, wherever you like, just not here" LOL...I should've sat on top of the host desk I asked if he could check with the host where specifically just so that I wouldn't have to move again and he responded, "I guess but trust me anywhere is fine" I moved and no it wasn't fine. oy vay! It didn't matter because my food never came anyway, my waiter switched without notice and got a very sweet lady that asked me to order anything on the menu - it would be comped due to the bad experience which bumped my rating from 1 to 2. If the food quality was good then it would've been a 3.

Hotel related restaurant, that I would avoid at all cost. Do yourself a favor and walk three block down to other restaurants. I went in for breakfast thinking what could go wrong. Ordered eggs over easy, and they did. Typically over easy eggs are runny, but I've never seen them translucent runny form not being cooked before. They were still cold, from the refrigerator I'm guessing. Toast and sausage was not bad, just dry.

The food is atrocious, the sirloin was a grey pice of meat drenched in a barbecue sauce that is more sickly sweet than flavorful. The service is barely there, not audible, and painfully slow, except when they were collecting my credit card. On top of that they have the audacity to charge an amount that I dare say could get you an absolutely amazing experience anywhere else in Chicago. Avoid at all costs.

It's the kind of bar you go to because it's convenient, not because you're excited to go there. I met up with a friend staying at the holiday inn this bar is attached to. We were served by Millie who was really nice and I recommend talking with her. I got sliders, half burgers half BBQ pork. They were pretty good and actually a steal at $7 for the plate. On a cold Chicago night I order warm cocktails, typically Irish coffee consisting of Jameson and baileys. She made it great the first time but then they ran out of baileys which is always a let down. Honestly the best way I could sum this place up is this: this place is acceptable and fairly priced, but I wouldn't go out of my way to patronize it.

We only had a short break, so we decided just to grab lunch at Sunny's. I typically don't like hotel restaurants, so I had very low expectations. The interior could use an upgrade but other than that I was quite surprised. The sandwiches, burgers and the portion of fries are huge. The burger was juicy and the fries were seasoned perfectly. Our waiter knew we had a short lunch break and was quick with our order, beverages and getting us the check. All-in-all a good experience.

This is located in the holiday in where I am staying for the week. I see a few bad reviews from 2014, so it occurs to me, there is a lot of turn over in the restaurant industry. This is my second night eating here. The service is GREAT! The menu is not very vast and the food is good (not amazing, but good). It is about what I expect from a bar and grill. The service, however, is great. I have been made to feel like I am important to them, but not annoyingly so. Remember when looking at reviews, focus on the current reviews. If you want great service and tavern food, this is s good place.

Not terrible, not great, just so-so. My only experience here is breakfast two days in a row only because it was connected to the hotel I was staying in and it was raining both days and I didn't want to go out. Convenient thing is that they charge your food to your hotel room which makes it easy to be. Average tasting prepackaged, prepared foods. Nothing extraordinary. All you can eat buffet is $14.95 which is an OK price for hotel. Not someplace that I would seek out, But if I stayed in the hotel again I eat there.

Not sure what the other reviewers were drinking. Food was decent and the waitress kept asking me every five minutes how my food was or if I needed anything. I had chicken strips and chips...they were great.
