The menu has everything from tacos to tortas and tamales. I had the 3 taco combination platter. The tacos I had were al pastor, chicken and carne asada. All were delicious and the platter also came with rice and beans. The horchata was ice cold and refreshing. Overall an excellent experience. I will definitely go back to try the tamales on the weekend.

I love a local small business and found this while looking for spots off the Blue line! Met up a friend and easily found a table in the back for a Friday lunch. The service was quick and the prices were good! I ordered the agua de Jamaica and it was delicious, but where I went wrong was the chicken burrito. It was fried chicken! I wasn't expecting that, more of a pollo tinga type chicken. I also was not a fan of their red nor green salsa, and I saw a bug crawling up the wall... I will not return.

Pase aquí porque tenía hambre y se me antojo una torta La tienda está limpia y simple. Después de ver las opciones, ordené una torta de carne asada. Me trajeron la orden súper rápido y la torta estaba deliciosa. La carne asada estaba bien cocida, los ingredientes frescos, y el pan no estaba aguado! Les recomiendo ordenar de aquí para el almuerzo o cena.

This place is where it's at! Passing it you're not sure but one of the best chile relleno and burritos I've had in the city. The fried chicken here looked outstanding also! Good for takeout but some tables in a clean sitting area. Affordable prices, super nice owner, large menu with he generous portions and most importantly DELICIOUS food! The chicken is their pulled fried chicken...wasn't sure about at first but a few bites in and I was sold! Packed with cheese and ingredients... Nothing was messy and ready quick for it being a 1 man operation. I feel like an idiot not getting here sooner...but I'm hooked now! Tried husbands rice and beans... usually I don't do the beans but theirs were outstanding and would order next time!

My love of a great burrito knows no bounds. There's nothing like the combination of a fresh tortilla, hot protein, cold veggies, and a kick of spice. With a plethora of places claiming to be "authentic" it's hard to find actual authenticity. I stopped in for a few groceries and noticed a cafeteria style area with a guy cutting insane amounts of cilantro. If you want my attention, this is the way to grab it! I literally stopped shopping and queued up for a burrito! Chorizo (My Fav) was on the menu and I ordered up. I had a very specific expectation of what I was about to enjoy but this was not that. It was way better! My preconceived notion of an "authentic burrito" flew right out of the window. Perfect in every definition of the word!

Overall, this place is a hole in the wall, literally but don't discount that for bad food because the tacos here are stellar. This location is hidden in the middle of a neighborhood. I ordered chicken taco and quesadillas. The meat could have been better, instead of fried chicken, a grilled chicken with a spice might have made it better but the quality of the food was great and the verde sauce and red sauce were still amazing. Keep up the good work!

The BEST tacos you'll find in Chicago! It's a hidden gem. I always get one of each but my ultimate fave is the tripa and the asada. The rice is also so delicious. The chicken is to dieeee for!!! They also have a selection of vegetarian options. Street parking is available. You can also dine in or order for pick up.
