I really like this place. It had really tasty tacos, great beans and decent rice and good horchata. I'm excited to try their sopes or burritos next time I am in Lakeview since this location is affordable, efficient and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner

Loved my fish tacos - generous amount of grilled fish. The pico de gallo was a little too onion-y but still great on the tacos. Friend - a quite discerning consumer of Mexican food - had the birria burrito and was very pleased. Guac and chips were good. Fast delivery. Food was still nice and warm. Salsa rojo was pretty hot; salsa verde okay. Will order again.

Great tacos, great price, great service! Everyone is very friendly, the service is fast, and the food is so tasty! I recommend the lengua and al pastor tacos.

Solid value but under seasoned and underwhelming tacos. I had the chicken, ok with the green sauce, birria totally lacking of flavor, and chorizo a touch of flavor. The tortillas also had no flavor. It was lacking so much flavored I tested my self for covid to make sure I still had my taste.

So essentially this place kind of SUCKS. Look I am not trying to be a negative person & it was Cinco De Mayo so maybe it was just because of the holiday, but we literally waited an HOUR for 7 tacos. Read that again- we waited an hour. We went so far as to ask the workers why it was taking so long and they just shrugged and then did not move our order up at all. Very small place & we suffered. The food was decent (got steak, chicken, vegetarian, tongue, al pastor) Really the only highlight was that they gave us free chips and quac (granted we did ask) So yeah I'd SKIP if I were you. Might have better luck at Caesar's down the street, which is saying something.

Super affordable place (especially given the location in the heart of Lincoln Park) and also very delicious as well! We ordered the large chicken quesadilla (5/5), the two taco dinner with rice and beans (4/5), steak torta (5/5) and the horchata (5/5). I especially loved the chicken quesadilla as the chicken was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. It's a pretty small shop with only a total of 4 tables (2 two person tables and 2 four person tables). Very fast and efficient service as well!

We popped into this neighborhood spot because we thought the outside looked so cute with the painting. We ordered a small burrito dinner, and were charged for a large burrito dinner. The food itself was disappointing, but we were served promptly. The burrito was loosely wrapped, came apart immediately, and was very greasy. Each bite released more grease. I stopped eating after the fourth bite. The rice and beans were fine.

My wife and I have been going here ever since they opened a few years ago. Honestly the best Mexican food in the neighborhood if not one of the best in the entire city. One of the sleeper items are their double cheeseburgers with fries. Burgers are to the point and well constructed and have an unctuous house sauce. Fries are battered which give them that crispy texture. I know it sounds wild but trust me, next time you want a burger, go here. But the stars of the show are the lengua and birria tacos. I usually get two of each when I go. That table against the window is my favorite spot to eat in all of Lakeview.
