The food is excellent. To bad I can't say that about Customer service, it sucks. The young at the front had the nasty attitude, I ordered my food around 3:20pm on the app it said it should be ready around 3:35. I remember from last time they took a little longer than 15mins, so I didn't get there till 3:49. When I got there I stood at the window a couple of mins before the young lady asked can she help me . I told her I had a pick up order, she said it's not ready yet, maybe like 5 more mins waiting on fries. I said ok I went and sat in my car went back in 6mins later, waited again before she acknowledged me. When she did I asked is my order ready she said no we have a lot of orders to fill and we filling them now, with an attitude. I said ok I just asked cause you said 5mins and it's over 5mins, so do you know how much longer it will be? She said another 5mins or so, I told you we wait g on fries and we have a lot of orders to fill. We only have one with an attitude. I do understand you all might be short workers, but why do the young lady have to have an attitude? What is the purpose of ordering online, if the food is not going to be ready when you get there? Food is good but Customer Service is terrible. I will not spend my money at the establishment again.

An overall 3.6 star review. Growing up in Chicago, there was a location on East 35th Street that people used to flock to for the steak supreme sandwiches. Fast forward some years and the owner died and the family struggled to keep the doors open. Now there's a location on the southwest side of town. It's a smaller location with grab-and-go vibes. We stood at the counter and ate our items as there were no seating areas. Accepting credit and debit or you can pay online for your order. I order the steak supreme meal and a hoagie meal. When you order a meal, it includes a pop and fries with your sandwich. The order came out quickly and the food was good. This was my husband's first time eating here and he seemed to enjoy his food. I am a little biased and holding on to nostalgia but my sandwich was tasty and filling. Parking is along a busy street and you can park around the corner and walk with no issues. I can see myself coming back here to relive my teen food crave days.

I like a good cylindrical roll of bread filled with meats. Some of you may refer to this as a sub sandwich, hoagie, hero, spuckie, wedge, rocket, or grinder. This spot in Chicago is one of the lesser known institutions that has been around for some time along with other spin offs by the Perkins family. This location is in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood at the corner of 66th and S Western Ave. If you thinking parking is going to be an issue take that worry out your head a there is plenty of street parking in the area. The menu is limited. You got a choice of sandwiches and sandwiches. Still people come in and get to the front with no idea. This menu has not changed in almost a decade so why do you think on this day something will change when you know you ordering the same thing. Sorry just my rant. I went with the supreme hoagy (yes they spelled it like that) meal that came with fries and a drink. Not sure what it is but different places can make the same sandwich but it will taste completely different. I am not sure what they are doing at this location but keep doing it. Must be a big secret as they slide you the food through a bullet resistant glass. One thing that stands out is that I ordered a single and it was busting with the amount of meat placed on it. If this was a single I am just curious as to what a double would look like. The entire garden was placed on this sandwich but it did not water the sandwich down in any way to make it soggy even with the seasoned oil put on. By the way the seasoned oil is called "Hoagy Juice". The fries were hand cut as I got the sweet potato fries and the spouse got the regular fries. This place had no ketchup and yeah I know that ketchup is seen as blasphemy in some eateries here but come on. Instead I got the mild sauce which actually went well with the sweet potato fries. The only suggestion is that I wish it had more banana and sweet peppers on it. Very good deal at the prices offered. This place is setup as a mainly grab and go but you can stand and eat in the place. If in the area definitely check out this local spot that everyone knows about and glad that I had a chance to get to know it. Solid 4 stars.

When i say i had SUPERB SERVICE HERE - to make a long story short, came from the west side to grab something to eat not knowing they close at 6pm, i arrived at 5:58pm. These gentlemen opened their doors, turned the grill back on , prepared and cooked my food fresh A N D had a GREAT ATTITUDE ABOUT IT.. The food was S U P A GUUUDDD‼‼‼ Super impressed (65th and Western location)

So very disappointed, bought a sweet steak was sooo bland, today. It smell right. The sauce was watered down thinner than Vinaigrette dressing. The fries was hard and half cooked. I can't believe it was just that horrible. It went straight the GARBAGE. First I had to come home and pop a HomeRun Inn personal pizza in the oven. I can't make this up. And the person took the order had no customer service skills. First and last time going there. Unfortunately, I hate to say this, they won't be open for too long unless they correct the problems. ASAP
