We visited Tetto Rooftop for the CID DJ set free popup! Walking into the building may feel a little weird because it seems like an average office building, but stepping out of the elevator is already an experience. The indoor decor is thoughtful and chic. But then you step out onto the rooftop area and it's once of the most gorgeous views of the skyline there is. Since Tetto is in West Loop/Fulton Market, the east-facing view is absolutely breathtaking, especially with the sunset sky as a backdrop. The configuration is a little awkward because there were tables when you first walk out, then the dance floor and DJ stage, and then you have to get past that to get the bar (the upper part of an L shape, if you will). So you're fighting a bit of the crowd to get a drink. The lines for the bar were also very confusing, I ended up in a line where the original bartender disappeared and had to wait for one of the adjacent bartenders to take pity on my for my order. They do not have any wine options so we settled for two-touch well cocktails and seltzers. Totally fine but fair warning that they are the small sizes, and with the speed (or lack thereof) of the lines, you'd probably want to get two at a time and it still might not be enough. The crowd was fun and the set up makes it feel very intimate. We were right up there super close to the stage and CID. The booth area was kind of small so it was amusing and slightly concerning to see the booth baddies try to dance on this teeny tiny platform behind the DJ. Sound and production was actually really good for a rooftop/non-permanent stage! I would recommend earplugs since you're so close to the speakers, though. It was a great set, well-handled overall, and we had a ton of fun! I definitely would want to come back on a non-event night just to get drinks with the girls, take pics, and enjoy the view.

This is a perfect spot for an unobstructed view of the city! I would recommend coming here for drinks and a vibe but not for food, unfortunately. I came here for a birthday celebration where we rented out a section of the lounge area. I don't know too much info on it since I didn't book the spot, but if you need a good group space with views and a few bites, this might be the spot for that. There were about 20 of us and it was the perfect space for everyone. The group stayed around for almost 6 hours so we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We had our own server and she was incredible! I believe the manager was also very communicative with our group which was nice to see.

Other than the views from this place and the zucchini fries, everything here is frustratingly below average. Don't go here to eat food or drink cocktails. Go here to enjoy the views, take selfies, and have a beer. The cocktails are hit or miss. Our table was wobbly to the point where I was concerned glass drinkware would either spill or topple over so I was deliberately bracing it. The dirt/dust on the tabletop I was holding, which accumulated over more than a few days, made the idea of eating a pizza with my hands unpleasant. So pasta was the decision. And regretti spaghetti... Do not order the pasta here. Go anywhere else nearby for pasta. It was hard (beyond al dente) and not at all worth the cost even if portion was larger. It tasted like undercooked Barilla boxed pasta. Service was fine for what this place is (bar trying to do more but should probably stop and focus on drinks first). Other places nearby will give you better food and drink for similar if not less cost. If the weather is nice and you happen to be nearby, may as well check it out though.

If rooftop therapy is a thing, Tetto is my new therapist. From the moment I stepped out of the elevator, it felt like I got flown out--except I never left Chicago. The views? Immaculate. The vibe? Chill but boujee. The drinks? Dangerous (in the best way). We grabbed a round of their cocktails--refreshing, strong, and too pretty to drink (but I drank them anyway). The staff was super friendly, music was on point, and the space felt like summer in a glass. It's giving rooftop romance, girls' night glam, and soft life Sundays all in one. Definitely coming back to live my best life in the sky. Pro tip: Get there before sunset and don't forget to take a bathroom selfie--yes, the bathrooms are that cute.

Great views, nicely decorated! I'd describe the food as medium, good appetizers though. Had a difficult time getting our server's attention, waited ~20 minutes at table before anyone came. The music was too loud to speak with others at our table. Probably wouldn't return unless I only wanted drinks but was a decent experience.

I recently came here during a week night early in the summer with my wife. We arrived around 6 pm. There was no wait, and we were seated right away. The first thing that struck me were the absolutely stunning near 360 degree views of Chicago. The views of the Loop and the buildings of the Magnificent mile were especially stunning. The atmosphere was bright and colorful with some great furniture and a nice feature wall. The food was very good. Typically, places with stunning views and amazing decks don't have good food, but that's not the case here. We're ordered the small pizze prosciutto for an appetizer and the orecchiette and the genovese as our mains. I also ordered the Frequent Flyer. I particularly loved the pizza and that pasta was perfectly al dente. Lastly, the service the was excellent. We were seated quickly and our food and drinks came out quickly. However, we definitely took it slow just enjoying the views. This a must visit spot for a Chicago summer.

The atmosphere and ambiance here were beautiful. Our server June was great. The old fashioned was really solid. The fried pizza dough appetizer and pasta with olive oil were also really solid. We had some bad luck with the weather, but this place was an amazing experience overall.

We arrived on a Friday at 5:30 and was told an event was starting at 6pm with a $25 cover. It was empty so the cover charge seemed extreme. Great views of the city and the cabanas are cute.

Came here on a Saturday but had to leave right away because of some "private event". There was no mention of it in Tetto's website or Insta account. Do yourself a favor when you decide to go, call first prior to coming.

Tetto's has a nice roof top area but here was not a lot of seating, so plan on standing. The drink (Spa Day) I had was mediocre, at best. It was premixed and tasted that way. They were setting up for a private event but let us go up. We were the only patrons there and there was no music. Just not a good vibe.
