This is probably my first time going to an actual hookah lounge, so be prepared to be smoked!! Blue Hookah house was a nice way to experience this water pipe. There's a unique menu for flavors and tobacco. Our server helped us with the selection between strong, lite, sweet and not so sweet. The fruit head (where you can smoke a pineapple or grapefruit) was something really cool! We got the pineapple for the sweet taste combined with what I believe is lemon and mint. Very smooth and fresh. There's also one that tasted like coffee or a tiramisu (creamy, coffee, smooth), gotta go a bit slower on this one. Along with the tobacco and coals, the flavors definitely come through. I was just really intrigued with the experience overall. It was smooth, fun and chill. The people watching was really nice too - there were several folks alone working on their computers or just hanging out to small groups. There is a minimum spend of $25/person. The hookahs range from $22-$45 and there are non-alcoholic beverages (coffee/tea/soda) available for purchase. Not surprising, but the place is very smokey. I am not sure if other hookah lounges have "better" air filtration systems. I will say the service was really good - the charcoal kept getting replaced without anyone requesting it, I kept thinking this will be done, but hours went by! Really nice experience.

If you're looking for a unique experience in hookah, this is the right place. Innovative use of fresh fruits are the highlight here. Remember making bongs out of pineapples when we were kids? Experience the magic of that, but with hookah! Truly innovative and fun, and the taste is so much better than just normal hookah. The ambiance is perfect for either relaxation alone or hanging out with friends. Seating is plentiful, comfortable, and designed to be modular based on party size. We had so much fun talking to other guests, and the staff was exceptional. We never waited for new coals, despite the place being fairly busy on a Saturday night, and our service person took a ton of time explaining the menu to us. Owner was gracious and we really felt welcome not only this time, but for future visits. When we finished, I couldn't believe how inexpensive it ended up being ($100 for three based on the hookahs we chose). The minimum spend is a very reasonable $25 per person, and if you choose to BYOB, it's only $5 per person to consume your alcohol on-premise.

My friend and I went here on a random Saturday around 5:45p. From the outside, the windows were kinda blurry so we didn't know what to expect. However, the sign at the top of the building persuaded my friend and I to explore. When we walked in, it was chill, clean and relatively empty. Some folks were working on their laptops. One of the workers seated us fairly quickly. He suggested a table by the window, and we asked if we could sit further away from the door. He said there was a heater by the window, but we asked again -- this time pointing out that there were many seats that were not occupied. We sat in the middle of the room. I was unsure why he originally acted confused at us asking to sit elsewhere but we sat where we wanted to in the end. We did have a bit of a wait for the server to come back to take our orders after we got our menus. We tried two hookahs and the house mixes were very flavorful. We also bought a water and Diet Coke. Be advised, there is a $25 minimum per person. We didn't stay too long, but we did get the hookahs in an appropriate amount of time. I'd go back, but probably before peak hours.

It was fun! Hookah..ing was on my bucket list and a long time visitor took me there (hint, newbies? do the Watermelon mint!) Staff was very nice - found street parking rather easily - I say, try it out!

Went there my first time to Chicago on a summer Friday night and the place was very busy! About 30 people seated during my time there and a diverse crowd of colors and races. Very nice vibe, good furniture with a variety of chairs, tables and couches, and all the customers seemed happy. They had several staff who were friendly and also very attentive to the customers. Hookah was very good and the price was also just right, not too expensive. Very good hookah pace and highly recommended!

This was such a good experience. We came early on a Saturday and there were plenty of seating options. We didn't realize this place was BYOB but once we did (after ordering our hookah) the server was really kind to allow us to leave to grab something and come back. She held our seat and our hookah for our return. We stayed for about 2 hours and enjoyed great ambience and conversation. We would definitely check this place out again in the future.

We were in Chicago for a basketball tournament and was looking for a cool hookah bar. We went to a different hookah bar at first but after realizing they used quick start coals it was time to leave! This was the perfect place. The service was great, hookah was fantastic. We didn't get to stay very long due to going so close to closing so we'll have to revisit

Came week prior to and the experience was nice had a party of 5 came back this week. And the staff just was blatantly disrespectful. When asked for accommodations for 3 they gave us extremely small seating but groups of 2 or the same size they provided them with better seating as we sat and requested for a change of seating due to my lower back. Staff ignored us and kept on with there business. My party and I felt discrimination played a part in the service we received.

Great and long lasting hookah, came in early afternoon and it BYOB. They changed our coals one time and it last lasted for a good hour or more. Would come here again very chill, clean and lux looking as the furniture is nice and comfortable. Not many food options so eat before you come!

I was on a date and, after dinner, my date wanted to try a hookah spot that she heard about from a friend. The spot was "The Blue Hookah House". The atmosphere and decor were nice. The service staff were not very attentive, but I didn't let it get to me because the place was nice. We ordered our hookah, as well as asked for ice and cups for our cocktails (BYOB). After going through three quarters of our ice, I looked in the bottom of the ice bucket and there were TWO ROACHES in our ice! Not just sitting in the bucket, but FROZEN INTO THE ICE! We were THOROUGHLY disgusted! We showed our server and he took the bucket to the Manager. For some reason, they had a lengthy conversation about it. Then, our server went to the back and brought us another bucket of ice!!! The nerve! We weren't consuming ANYTHING else in the place at that point. Worse than the roach was the fact that the Manager NEVER came to apologize! He sat and continued smoking hookah and playing a game with his friends. **WARNING*** Do NOT visit this place! I will be reporting this to the Department of Health.
