This place is one of my favorites in the city. Try to stop in at least once a week. Such a cool historic bar being one of the oldest in the city, therefore still using a cash register. ATM on site. Service is so friendly and they try to remember you! Prices are great and I'm usually dominating the TouchTunes! No food here but def a place to check out, especially on Thursday's with great beer deals!

This is a great, casual, old school local dive spot in Chicago. Inside they have a pool table and touch tunes, and they put a number of tables and chairs outside on the street when it's nice outside. It's a neighborhood spot where everyone knows everyone, and they have great drink deals. $1.75 "mystery" beers on Thursdays are the best, as well as $9 pitchers on Bears game days

Check out this good old bar. It's in fact one of Chicago's oldest bars, and the prices are a throwback of sorts. The Chipp Inn may be a golf reference, or it may not be so whatever. About all there is to know is that it's cheap ass beer and stuff that can be hard to find. You should also know it's cash only. Bars like this are hard to find anymore. It's usually a lot more expensive even for crappy ass beers. This is one of the few exceptions. It's about $3 for a can of beer. Speaking of hard to find, some of the beers here are hard to find anywhere else. If you're looking for Blatz, Schlitz, or other old school stuff, come get a bottle or a can. The liquors aren't that expensive either. It's mostly cheap ass shit of course. The only bad thing is that it's cash only. Bar does have an ATM. Try to remember bringing cash to avoid the stupid ass fees. For sure this is one of the diviest bars. It's small and hard to move around, especially if you're playing pool. The beer selection has hard to find stuff, the liquor selection is good and cheap, and while there's not really any food menu they do have chips and stuff.

The Chipp Inn is a dive bar / old man bar that would be obscure if it were not located a block away from the intersection of Ashland and Chicago in the Noble Square / West Town area. It's an old school place that serves beer, showcases some beer paraphernalia, and oh did I say they serve beer? Check it out if you are in the area and have a craving for hanging out at a lowkey establishment.

I love this bar! Everyone is super friendly and seems to be having a great time with engaging bartenders. Drinks are not expensive, and we have loved the atmosphere on more than one occasion.

Zero stars for this place. I would've given it a solid 4. But I went outside to smoke and there was an airshow going on and I was trying to just close my eyes and deal with the sounds of the jets so I didn't have a panic attack. And the bartender thought I was sleeping and didn't care to ask why and told me to not come back.
