Great Space ...attended a school gala which very nicely organized. There is plenty of parking, coat check and clean restrooms. Room for DJ and dancing , was a fun night!!

This was the first time I had ever heard of The Geraghty. I was attending the Green Tie Ball® XXVII - Green Eggs & Glam gala and this was the location of the event. This was a formal affair and the address threw me off as I couldn't picture where this venue would be located. As I started driving down a gravel road to avoid the long line to get into the lot, I was even more skeptical as I felt like I was driving down a southern backroad with all the dust that was kicking up. After tipping down the grey gravel road, I entered the venue. This space is huge and truly amazing, very open and inviting. I imagine the décor is designed based on the event., but for this event, it was well laid out with *gasp* plenty of seating to allow you to eat, drink and be merry. The theme of this year's gala was Green Eggs and Glam, so it was Dr. Seuss whimsical. All the decorations suggested you were in one of the books. There were even the Things running around...Thing 3 was there, so guessing Things 1 and 2 were on vacation. The Grinch also stopped by and paid us a visit and the Cat in the Hat and his Missus were there as well. There were quite a few people at the event, but it never felt crowed. There was a full-size bar as well as a full-size stage. The Geraghty went all out for this event and I have to say that they hit the mark. From the food stations, standing bars, the very comfortable seating areas with sofas and tables...amazing arrangements. Don't let the location or gravel road put you off. This is an excellent venue to host an event.

This is a hidden Gem located Southwest side of Chicago All summer long I have driven this way dropping my daughter off to extra curricular activity and never notice this is venue hidden hidden alone Hoyne Avenue Wow The event I was attending was the Green Tie ball 2018 extravaganza The theme was Green Eggs and Glam and this place got the memo on the theme and the decor in a lighting and the all out sexiness Swanky There were well-stocked bars and bar staff where you didn't have to wait too long for your drink what I absolutely love and kept telling the other party going on yours that I love the seating the arrangement it was so plentiful along with the plush couches and the different Q's of lighting depending on what was happening on the stage there are numerous things that can actually be achieved at this venue wedding, masquerade balls parties from the formal to the informal Bathroom clean well stocked and great lighting for you or inFAMOUS bathroom pics This particular staff was on their game far as keeping everything tidy lol I loved it I can only hope to get another invite

My company had our holiday party at this event location. The place was very spacious and had clean organized bathrooms. Some of the staff was polite and friendly, especially the coat check that ran smoothly. My only qualm was the food stations. We had over 4 food stations spread out throughout the venue but, they waited until after the meeting was done to bring out food. When the party was more than halfway done, they were still setting up the food station and not letting anyone have any food. By the time they set up the food stations, people were ravenous and drunk from not eating anything for hours. Overall, the venue was spacious and while it doesn't look like much on the outside, it's very grand and beautiful in the inside.

Attended the Metropolitan Breast Cancer Task Force (soon to be) Equal Hope, annual fundraiser. Excellent valet service, plentiful drinks, tasty plated dinner, (carrots were delicious), Teresa Griffin entertained channeling Aretha, she makes Chicago proud! Just 1 issue, bartenders ran out of Rose for the signature drink of the nite, Pink Cadillac! Clean restrooms, good service, all around marvelous event!
