I am being completely 100% biased when I write this post. The old volkswagen photo as the default for this place ?! Perfection!!! I got an early notification about my favorite artist being in town my bday weekend. Yeek! Little did I know after post-impromptu purchase it was for a FilipinoX festival! What would you know, I am half Latino and half Asian (surprise !) I fit right into the X factor (AH!) Doors opened early and I was IMPRESSED by the venue! My husband and I talked about it being the perfect wedding venue outdoors! We didn't know what to expect when the doors opened at 8pm! It was tucked away in a tight corner and the music venue was way bigger than it looked! King Marie is a FANTASTIC DJ! Once she played Dumbai, I was sold. Yeek killed it right after King! We even got a spot on his camera roll at the very end! (Praise, Jesus!) I tap a heart just to show my fake love." (IYKYK!!!) Great show, great vibe!! Proud to be an immigrant of multi/cross cultures!!!

Tortoise was incredible. The sound was amazing. My IPA was $13+ so think about how much you want to spend on drinks before you get here. And this event did not have food/snacks for purchase. I love that there's a bar on the balcony level. It really helps. Seating wise... it's standing room only similar to The Whisky and The Troubadour in LA. But since this is a new venue... it's clean and sanitary:) Yaas!!! The staff I interacted with were friendly and cool.

Meh, it was ok. The sound was really good. Easy to find parking. Wow,wow, wow!!!!!! Drinks are soooooooo expensive. Think of a place you've gone where you paid a lot for a drink (baseball game, airport, London), then double that price. Outdoor space was very cozy. Nnamdi was incredible, but I'm just Meh on Outset.

This place is a little too uptight about their security checks. The first time I went they took away my edibles without even letting me take them to my car. The second time, they were taking everybody's pens away. They had at least 50 confiscated pens when I walked up. When I asked why, the security guard said you can kill someone with a pen. ‍ The outdoor space is nice but their bar is terrible. They only have one bourbon option, they have no wine, and even though I don't drink beer often, it looked like they only had a couple of options. They also only had one bartender per bar for a sold out show. The music venue had pretty good sight lines- if you were in the front half of the hall. For some stupid reason, they put a giant bar in the middle of the music hall so some people get stuck unable to see. Talk about shitty placement. They have a balcony, but the view is so bad that you could only see if you were right up against the railing. The balcony itself is about 40 feet by 40 feet, but the there was only 2 rows of people watching the show from the balcony. The sound was terrible and was only good if you were in the front half of the hall but it gets crowded because the experience is so shitty from anywhere else. Even the musician was having sound troubles and pointed out that it was the venue's fault. They also couldn't get his video to play. The Outset sucks. Won't be going back.

Horrible. Very rude, disrespectful staff. They stereotype people and give you a hard time. Drinks expensive and watered down. Sound system stinks. Not worth it.

EXPENSIVE DRINKS. They don't do cocktails. Ok event space. Had to wait outside in the cold for awhile before being let in. But did have fun dancing with my bestie

What a terrific space!! The owners have clearly spared no expense, on the space itself, sight lines, great bar, super professional staff, sound and acoustics were terrific! A very cool outside space for chilling before, during, or after the show with a merch tent that takes all that away from the (precious) audience space. Looking forward to more shows there!!

venue does not care for letting customers In on time. Has children waiting outside on 10 degrees weather and letting them an hour and a half later then the time they advertise the doors open
