The food here was OK. I like that there was a variety, very convenient when at the convention center. Plenty of space for groups to eat together. I had the burrito bowl with chicken ....again it was OK definitely not a chipotle but it worked lol Staff was nice and friendly. I was impressed they had someone sorting trash for composting ...that was interesting

Probably the only time you're going to be coming here is if you are attending an event at the convention center. After an already long day of walking we opted for easy and decided to give this place a try. When you walk in you'll find that there are a variety of food types that you can choose between. The center has multiple drink stations where you can get water, soda, tea, etc. The shortest line in the place was at the by-the-slice pizza and calzone place. A calzone didn't sound bad to either of us, so we went there. The staff were friendly and apologized (they were away from the window/counter for a few minutes). They got us served up with our sausage calzone really quick;y and we were on our way to go to one of the pay stations. Again, really quick and friendly service. Price for a really large calzone and drink was about $12.00 so pretty reasonable. The main problem though, seating. Once we paid we started a process of what took upwards of 30 minutes to get a place to seat. People were like vultures roaming and the second somebody moved there would be multiple people standing over the top of them in anticipation of the seat becoming available. Not really a fan of that, would have worked much better if they had formed a line and had an attendant directing people to open seating when it became available. Plus that would ensure the person waiting the longest got seated first. The calzone itself wasn't too bad. The sausage was pretty good, and they gave a pretty generous portion. Would have personally preferred if they had laid a little off the sauce, also catch them before they pour another cup+ of sauce over the top of the calzone and on the sides...really kind of starts to make things a little too soggy. Overall it works in a pinch, especially if you don't want to fight the crowds to get a taxi or uber to go find food outside of the facility.

Convention food fare at convention food prices. Most entrees are $8-10. The food is not spectacular, but at least there is variety. There's a grill for burgers and hot dogs, a pizza place, a pseudo Asian food place, a burrito place, a deli, and soup and cold sandwiches.

The only reason I gave them one star is because they managed to keep the ice cold. The chicken sandwich was the most expensive yet driest I've ever had in my life. It tasted as if the took a stack of paper towels & put it between two dry buns. The buns were breaking apart as I was eating my paper towel sandwich. The burger was just as dry. Is dry food a delicacy in Chicago??? We spent $77 only to almost choke to death, as the dryness if the food was too much for our salivary glands to handle. Save your money (and your glands) for the food stands in the convention center.
