It is so ghetto in this store. Yea they have flamin hot cheetos in a corner and the display of the liquor and wine is too wild. The store is too small to carry all those bottles. It's like being locked in a storage outlet and calling it a liquor store. The liquor is cheap so I give them one star for that!

lee han's review of town and country is interesting in that it gives me a chance to guage the opinion of others outside the black chicago ghettoes. For my wife who , commented "as long as they keep selling what I want to buy I 'll keep patronizeing them." I'm already confined to a food ghetto because of the inability to access grocery services." as for me my exceptional thinking skills in this area throw out the fluff and concentrates rather on the obvious "safety" when makeing my purchase. the mexican or Arab who seems to be in charge is affable if talked to. seems very interested in current events, politicians etc in the coversations that we have had. friendly enough. the black woman who cooks is helpful, courteous and business minded. I am always cautious as I proceed in america because of the massive amounts of nutty people roaming around the country in the ghetto or outside. the whole country is a ghetto of violence so everyone is exposed to the same "stuff" my take on town and country is that it is no better or worse than any other whiskey store in chicago. they all sell booze. yea, the ambience has a lot to be desired but they have everything you want. there is usually a festive atmosphere and most people shareing pleasanties while standing in line to pay. quick service in and out. there's a parking lot on the side and the menu of home cooked meals, deli-cuts and sandwiches are a treat. daytime for food. this is tough chicago. check them out.
