I'm sorry to say that the owner of this property was difficult and rude. I drove 3 hours for the final walk thru with vendors and family prior to my daughter's wedding. Scott "forgot" and did not show up. We were given a code to get in, but many many questions went unanswered. The wedding was lovely and the venue looked great after much decorating and planning. At midnight the happy couple was in for that all of our things had to be removed by 9 am! If we had not been told when we booked this space that we had all day Sunday to get the mirrors, candles, flowers etc removed we could have planned for this! As good friend did come at 9 and discovered that most of our things, including antique mirrors, pottery, potted plants that were mine, and most importantly a hand made broom that was made by my daughters new sister in law, were given away! I am deeply disturbed by this callous and unkind behavior. I would never recommend this venue to anyone.

I've always drove through that place but never had a chance nor cared what Trigger was all about. My friend had an extra ticket so I attended a silent function held there. Was it a bar? Was it a private club? No, but it could be. It's actually a banquet that has been used for private events and their parking lot holds 5 cars. Residential parking wasnt so difficult to find. This event venue has won the couples choice award for Wedding Wire 2019; 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, and 14 feet high ceiling. Add the website says, "5000 feet of anything you can imagine."

This was the PERFECT venue for our event. Trigger is a gem and we are so happy we found it. First of all, it's beautiful and unique. Second, it is an extremely versatile space that can be transformed in any way you imagine. The space was perfect for my son's recent bar mitzvah. We had his service in the main room and then flipped the room for the party. Scott is great to work with. The fee for renting the space is a very good value ( other similar venues wanted way more) . We used Scott's in house caterer, Bryan Eder, who created a delicious meal for our guests at an extremely reasonable price. You can rent tables, chairs and table settings directly from Trigger which makes it nice to have one less vendor to deal with. We also rented Scott's automatic photo booth which was a huge hit with both our child and adult guests. Fantastic venue.

We found Trigger on Peerspace for our wedding and ceremony and it turned out to be above and beyond what we had hoped for. The space is so cool and unique, with all the things going on around our wedding day and night, one of the most memorable characters was the venue itself! And Scott the owner is so easy going, he just made it all work seamlessly. His integrity and honor and generosity made our experience with the space rental a pure joy.

What a cute little spot! I attended a Christmas party that a friend hosted here yesterday (a Saturday) night. The place has a warm, sweet vibe to it. The venue is split into two rooms. The room in the front has a bar/kitchen, some couches in a little area to lounge, an old-timey red phonebooth (great for gimmicky pictures!) and an area for a DJ to set up. The back room is basically just a big dance floor, as well as a big mirror with lights around it. There are two bathrooms here, which may be sort of tough depending on how big your party is. But for our party of about 75, it worked out just fine. Parking is a little dicey...the lot for the venue itself is practically non exist, and there seemed to be plenty of street parking. You should warn your guests in advance that they may have to walk a block or two to get to your party, or keep in mind during the winter it may be a little difficult. Also, no wifi access! But that was really the only hiccup with this place. Would recommend for a smaller gathering...maybe a vow renewal, birthday celebration, etc. Not bad!

My husband and I chose Trigger for our marriage celebration (basically a big 'ol bash with 115 of our closest family and friends after having a private wedding ceremony a couple weeks prior). And, it was a HUGE success for us and our guests! We live in Denver by way of Chicago and were a bit reluctant to throw a party in a city we didn't live in. But, it all worked out. It always does! The owner, Scott, was incredibly helpful every step of the way. He Facetimed me, so I could see more of the space in addition to the pictures online. And, he even let me and my in-laws take a peek when we were in town five months prior to our big day! We all loved it (even more so after seeing it in real life). Trigger is truly a unique space with a wealth of eclectic artwork and displays. The super fab furniture in the lounge area made the space feel even more comfortable. The bathrooms were pure eyecandy. When's the last time you heard someone say that about a bathroom?! We wanted the event to feel more like a big party as opposed to a traditional sit-down style wedding reception and I think we succeeded. Our guests mingled the night away! Trigger has banquet tables, high-top tables and chairs for rent, which was really convenient. We set up banquet tables and chairs for the back room. Some people hung out casually back there and many people ate dinner in the back room. Some people also ate standing up at the high-top tables and lounge area we set up in the front room. It was a nice mix and more of a fun party vibe. It was such a special treat to rent a venue that was so flexible in terms of food, beverages, setup, timing, etc. A blank canvas (besides all the cool artwork and furniture)! Scott was great with answering my many questions, helping organize all our various food and beverage vendor deliveries and being there the morning of to help us with the sound system and PA for our music playlists, TVs for our digital photo collage, etc. He was such a joy to work with and Trigger is simply the coolest.

It's too bad this place is poorly managed. It's a beautiful space but the manager was inconsistent with what his expectations were and made the end of our event really stressful.
