This was a big bowl of not very good. It's within walking distance of our apartment. Since we're moving this week to a new leased condo, I thought we should try it. First surprise was seeing it's an order at the counter place. I got a very average cheeseburger. Donna got a perch sandwich- breaded and deep fried. She's concerned that it may cause some tummy problems because it tasted fishier than fresh fish should taste. Last problem: fries from a bag! My bad picking this one. Sorry, no pictures.

Fish, Burgers & More right off the 606. This spot is right off California and easy to access. Takeout order was done in 15 minutes. Customer service was friendly over the phone and in the store for pickup. Prices are competitive for the area but not expensive. Food: Catfish was good. Cooked correctly and seasoned well. French fries were hot and not too greasy. I appreciate that the worker asked if she could built my sandwhich before or if I wanted to watch her do it. I opted for her to go ahead and built with my toppings before arrival for my catfish sandwhich: Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onion, banana peppers plus tartar sauce. My sandwhich was great and the choice between brioche or crossiant was a plus. I am excited to try other things on the menu. The location is perfect for a quick lunch take out during the week so will try other items. Can't beat 2 fish dinners for $24.50.

Stopped by here last night and was blown away by how good the fish was! Hard to find quality fish fry and chips in Chicago...so fresh, perfectly cooked, and the house made tarter! Had the best conversation with the owner Lentonio, such a kind, genuine man and learned the fish is consciously sourced! A business I can get behind, aside from great food! what a wonderful multi-generationally owned family business. had the catfish, whitefish and perch, all so good. I will be back, such a gem!

We ate the grilled chicken sandwich, 2 piece chicken wings, and 3 piece catfish meal. The chicken was bland and very messy. The 2 piece chicken wings were pretty good. The 3 piece catfish meal was excellent. The fries were well seasoned and cooked to the perfect crispness. The tartar sauce for the catfish was on point!!! Extra credit for that...however, the credit is taken away when I had to pay an extra $1 for additional tartar sauce. If you get the same amount of tartar sauce for 2 pieces, then the 3 piece should come with an extra tartar as part of the increase in price (or simply increase the price of the 3 piece meal a bit more to account for the extra tartar). To charge extra on request seems like the business is nickeling and diming you...looks bad for the business (like they need every penny to be successful). The staff were very kind. They seemed to want to go out of their way to make you happy and satisfied. They gave us samplings of their mac n cheese as well as their cabbage...both were delicious!!! Lastly, they opened up their "sports bar" area for the two of us. We were the only two in the restaurant but they turned on all the TVs, all the lights, turned on the air hockey game, etc...just to give us the full experience. Truly, I feel this would be a great place for a large group of people to hang out to play games (ie. connect four, cornhole, or air hockey), watch a sports event, or to simply grab a nice meal. Things to improve...as mentioned, the cost of condiments should be absorbed into the price of a meal. I can understand if people request for an excessive amount, but to ask for something small seems desperate. They should get a pool table for the "sports bar" area. It would be easy for the restaurant to keep the sticks and balls in a back room where the guests have to use their credit card/driver's license for collateral to rent the balls/sticks. This would allow them to monitor those who abuse the sticks and/or the table itself (ie. no drinks or food on the table or else the patron pays for any and all repairs). And finally, I think hand sanitizers should be readily available since many of their food items on the menu are hand food. When playing air hockey, cornhole, or connect four, I think having a hand sanitizer would make people feel better.

Update: I love this place. Today I placed an order over the phone and picked it up myself. The manager Lentonio was very kind and very informative. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I ordered catfish (again), perch, onion rings (FIRE) and I even tried their whiting fish (Lentonio was kind enough to let me try a piece after inquiring over the phone). Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean inside. Right next door they are opening a beautiful event space that I'm excited to visit. They'll have games, drinks and what sounds like a really cool vibe. Not sure if I mentioned this before but their seasoning is on point!! (And I'm used to lemon pepper.) I was impressed with their customer service in the way that Lentonio received my feedback about the chicken wings that I ordered the first time. He explained to me how it was a one off and offered to treat me to an extra wing or soda on my next visit. Much appreciated. I'm excited to patron this spot again!

Forgot to bring my lunch since I work across the street at Moos School, I decided to try Yacht 57. The grilled shrimp salad was beyond delicious. It was so good I tried to duplicate it by making it at home. My home made grilled shrimp salad was 5/10 , whereas Yacht 57 grilled shrimp salad was 10/10. I intentionally did not bring lunch today, will be having anothe grilled shrimp salad from Yacht 57. Dr. W

I pass this place on my way home every night and decided to stop in. It's right on California underneath the 606 and parking is easy. It used to be a donut shop and there is a defunct car detailing place next to it in the same building. It is a very cute little place with a pretty good menu board that you order from when you walk up to the counter. They have a good online order system as well, but I usually walk up because they're fast . . . no long waits. The seafood is always excellent, and I have never been disappointed. I don't eat meat so I don't know what the burgers are like but I have asked other while I've been waiting for my orders to be cooked up and they've been very complementary. Everything is quite fresh even though a lot of it is fried but I would very highly recommend this place as a fast food stop where you get food that's good for you instead of who knows where it came from?

The burger is honestly really good. It reminds me of a home made burger, like the burgers your mom used to make after she said no to McDonalds. Like it was made with love. You should try it. Everything comes with fries. The fries are perfect.

This restaurant is such a gem!!!! I was walking around the neighborhood & decided to give them a try. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome, an explanation of the menu, and when I received my food I was blown away! Freshly prepared and delicious would be the way I would describe my catfish sandwich I will definitely return soon!
