A friend recommended this place after I had mentioned wanting some Down South hole-in-the-wall breakfast. He said that his son and nephew frequent it and like the spot. He also said that he liked it. My friend is in recommendation jail. I ordered the salmon croquette breakfast since that was the closest to a proper Down South breakfast plate that I could find on the menu. The croquette was salmon and breading with no celery, bell pepper, onion, and seasoning. And there was a sour aftertaste. The scrambled eggs had more shells in them than flavor. Rice came with butter, no gravy. For the duration that I was there, the cook and the woman who was taking pick-up orders to customers were engaged in conversation laced with cussing. I can only imagine the performances from the staff and patrons late at night. If you go, beware that service is slow. When the sun goes down, the clientele may also be wild after sunset. An interesting place, to put it mildly.

It's been a while since coming here. I only come here when I want a chopped steak burger. One of the ladies here is so rude and unprofessional. The nerve of them to have signs outside stating "Not to be Rude." Maybe they need to have a class on it themselves. I came here on a Sunday. I pushed the button outside and waited 15 minutes for her to come and take my order. She came out and told me to give her a second. A second turned into another ten minutes. I ding dong the bell again a different lady came out and apologize took my order. It was an half hour later no food. I went back up there and rung the bell. She came out and told me they were just putting my steak burger on the grill. NO thank you please refund me back my money. The nerve of her to tell me we don't give refunds. Well today will be the day you give me back my money. The nerve of her to have an attitude. Guess what? I received my refund. I didn't come to play about no food or my money. I don't care how good the chopped steak burgers are here. Bad Business and rude employees.

Limited parking on side of buildings A couple of TVs inside to watch the game Not sure if they sell beer there were corona signs But didn't see any. As I was sitting waiting heard the lady cook saying That this was her last week and that she had Worked here 23 years. Hopefully that won't Mean the food quality will suffer.

This was my first and last time ordering from them, the food was just so plain. I ordered the steak omelet and it was only egg cheese and a few pieces of steak. No onions, no tomatoes or bell pepper this is the first place that I ever ordered omelets from that didn't have anything in it but the steak. They really need to step their game.

Hody's is a little dirty, greasy spoon that is open 24 hours, down the street from a porn shop and the Shamrock motel and I would not change one thing about them. First, you know its a ghetto spot when after a certain time you have to pay for your meal, when dining in BEFORE you can order it, obviously they have a lot of dining and dashing, which brings me to my next point, its a picture of a lady who dined and dashed. I came here with my boyfriend and we ordered 2 sides of bacon, an order of ham, 2 sides of potatoes and french toast all for an astounding price of $16.00. AMAZING. I ate my food for two days. I love this place, its amazing, its never a dull moment. Thanks
