Only reason I give this post a star us because I'm forced to. imagine being stopped at the door and forced to leave because you have your mothers name tattooed on your neck. #1 totally embarrassing to have people watch me go thru this not to mention embarrassing the people I went out with. Then the establishment points to a sign that says no neck tats...like that was suppose to be some kind of a grand justification towards the discriminatory behavior I experienced. I have never seen this anywhere else before. I understand rules are rules, but i feel that this is censorship on how people want to express themselves. do you think neck tats are classless or do you think neck tats symbolize gang activity?... what's more harmful the exposed cartoon devil tat on my arm of him playing cards that you were going to allow me in and expose to everyone or my mothers nickname on my neck that you won't let me in for? With that said I will never return to this bar because little do you know I can get in. I'll wear a turtle neck and change shirts in the bathroom just to prove a point. I'd never recommend this place in fact I'd do the opposite and highly recommend against anyone going here with such crap rules and regulations. Do not know how long this place been here, but I'd put money on a short future.

Good bar to visit if you are looking to keep the party going late night. Kat the bartender is probably the sweetest bartender on the southside. Diverse crowd. Dance music. Give it a whirl. Ample parking. Fair prices. Doormen keep the riff raff under control. Thursday-Saturday are the busiest nights.

I went for the first and last time. I requested hip-hop/R&B and the DJ told me he's not allowed to play that music. Hmmm. Why not? I then asked for the Cupid Shuffle and he said, "definitely not." So what's the real reason he could not play any songs by African-Americans??!!! He played techno music all night. Music should be played for everyone. It was a mix of people in there but the music catered to one type. I will NEVER go back. So sick of the microaggression in this area.

This place does not appreciate young adults trying to get a higher education. My younger cousin was in town while in college out of state and was not allowed in because he had a valid Florida ID. He was in town for thanksgiving week and obviously didn't have a need to carry a passport but was still asked for one. please support business with better judgement!!!!

Bouncers not trained properly. Manager is NOT a manager. And if the manager is who they said he is his four other bouncers held my son's arms while the manager (with bad skin on neck) punched my defenseless (being held by four other bouncers) son in the face. This was all FOR NO REASON! I would love to see the video footage!!!

I went to this place attempting to celebrate my bday. I asked the DJ to play a few songs he said there were 3 sounds ahead. So I waited at least 20 mins no songs. Only 2 songs. They were basically not doing so because we were black about 4 of us. I was beyond disappointed.

Been here 3 times. They now have slot machines located in the rear of the place. The bartendress, didn't even turn her head when I walked in. One of the locals got up and told her she had a customer. She ignored him and he sat back down. It took the other bartender or cook from the back to come out and take my order. Finally she gets up after a while and goes to get more $ out of "her purse" and goes back to the slot machine. Poor service tonight! The guy made up for her poor excuse if a bartender!

First of all, I must say that Nick, the bouncer, was very respectful (although charging a $5 cover on a Sunday night (Monday morning) at 1:30am seemed a little odd). After arriving at the bar, we asked for two shots of Jameson and two glasses of water, and we were informed that water would be $3 a bottle. We would have been perfectly fine with plastic cups of tap water. After paying for our shots plus $6 for two bottles of water, we used the bathroom, and realized that both the men and women's bathroom did not have paper towels. We are not sure if we needed to pay for that also. All in all, our experience with Bar 122 was horrible. The service was fine, but how cheap can the owners be? Never again will we return... even if it's the only bar open in the area.

Oh my if you want to sit in filth please go there. The bar top was sticky the floors were disgusting and the beer even tasted awful. Instead of the bartender sitting with one customer maybe she she grab a rag or mop. Never again.....

I agree with Karlee - this bar does suck. I've been there twice, and opposite of her experience it's packed like a can of sardines. The bouncer charged me a $10 cover (come to find out other people were only being charged $5) even though I was a designated driver, I was harassed by some idiotic drunk girl the entire time I was there and the bouncer did absolutely nothing about it when I brought it to his attention, the drinks are indeed overpriced (and watered down, at least they were the first time I went there), the bar tenders are incompitent, the place is swarming with a bunch of loud, obnoxious dirt-bags, and if you're male be ready for every patron in the bar watching you use the bathroom, because due to fights they keep the men's room door wide open. If you're some 21 year old kid who wants to be able to go out, start a fight, and act like a complete piece of trash while being overcharged for a subpar experience then this is the place for you! Indeed, this bar CATERS SPECIFICALLY to scumbags. For everyone else, avoid this place like you would the plague.
