Checked out this pretty small Mexican restaurant in Alsip. It doesn't look like much from the inside or outside. Burrito Alegre is one of these hole in the wall places that usually isn't busy. Has pretty limited food choices. The prices are okay for this it seems. Be sure to have the correct expectations. It's nothing fancy. This is seriously a bare bones type of place. Has limited options. There's no margaritas or any other alcoholic beverages, so this part about it sucks. It's about $2 for Jarritos. There's also some other kinds of pop. Food is limited. It's about $3 for Chips And Salsa. A lot of the menu is meaty. There's tacos with beef and pork. Even though it's not much it's still okay for a pretty authentic experience. It's located just off Pulaski. They close pretty early so it's not a late night kind of thing.

Is fajitas and tacos the service is amazing. The food is high-quality. The service are very nice and friendly. They bring all the food out to your table, custom-made hot and fresh order highly highly recommend and in addition to that the prices are amazing.

I think the food here is very tasty. Minus one star because they aren't always open when they should be. I came here on three separate occasions when they should've been open and they weren't.

Cute little family owned Burrito Joint. The food is good and consistent. I've never been disappointed by this shop. Lots of lovely plants and cacti in the front window. They also have a Ms PAC Man upright game.

This place has the best chiliquilies Verdes! I get mine with either 2 or 3 eggs. Always on top. Served with rice and beans. It is the best!

Not the best Mexican food I've had but it's good! Fast service, clean, and friendly staff! I recommend the chicken tacos on corn shell! My fave along with chicken tamales when they have them!

When my husband and I went there for dinner yonight, I saw a hugh cochroach and when I brought it to the attention of the cashier, she did absolutely nothing. They didn't even apologize or give us anything off our meal. I lost my appetite anyway. I guess they use them to flavor the good (See picture).

The tacos are FAB! I got 1 chicken, 1 pork and 1 steak and all were so darn good. I only paid $10 and that included a coke too (and free chips). I will definitely be back.
