I haven't been here in a while to do a full on second review. This place has definitely upgraded from the dingey mess it once was. The have all new flooring. They painted the walls. Really nice TVs. They even have a fireplace display for crying out loud. If you're having an overflow of cars just park across the street which is really nice Rick's Kitchen is definitely the best bar food around. I definitely recommend it. Pool table is really great and fun to play with as well... The locals I guess are alright for the most part. On top of it it's got cheap drinks. This place was much better when they had bingo nights here on Mondays. Definite recommend none the less. Oh hey, I forgot, they also got alot machines, tens of TVs which usually play sports.

the worst bar i have ever been in ! i would like to say that it smelled like cat urine. IT SMELLED LIKE MOUNTAIN LION URINE !!! i've travelled the whole world and have been in a few dives. THE MEN'S BATHROOM SMELLS BETTER !!!

Another one of those mysterious breakfast bars. No there is no food, just alcohol. The liquid lunch gets all the attention, but third shifters have made an institution of morning drinking at the Castle long before Burbank was even a City. A pretty friendly crowd by Burbank standards, I have broken into Polish bar songs with the tender, and had regulars buy a round for the house. Don't get me wrong, if you aren't wearing your favorite teams colors or some Harley stuff, they will peg you as an out of towner. But unlike some of the other local joints they will leave you be, well unless they remember you from Highschool, then you are screwed.

it is a fun place. local tavern with good bar food, good people , and a great host . everyone takes on the owner's motto , have all the fun you want but be safe going home. they care about their customers and even the long time friends of the tavern come out of their higher end suburban outfits to revisit old times. you can often see offers for CUBS, sox, bulls, bears, and hawks tix.....people not using tix just trying to get their $$$ back . Toby Keith would LOVE THIS BAR. and Darrell does also , been gong here for over 33 years, with same owner . time flys when u r havin fun !!!!!!

I went there for a playoff NFL game. The crowd was tanked,loud and rude. The place was very small and there was like no parking. I had to chance it on the nearby permit parking. This place could use a better remodeling fix by tyhe owner. It is one of them bars that looks cool on the inside but very disappointing on the inside. few beer choices also makes this place not worth a second venture. A very bad bar.

The night of the South Side Irish parade, my niece went here and left without her bag. The bartender Amy went above and beyond, by bringing it to her house that very night. Her license, credit cards and debit cards along with ALL her cash were there!!! Truly the most generous and honest act I have ever encountered.

Going to the castle walking in there you'll always know some one . Jim the owner is just terrific n the bar girls are so sweet . It really feels down to earth in there .

First time in the place it was a nice neighborhood bar. The food was OUTSTANDING...one of the best handmade cheeseburgers!!! I will be back for lunch
