This is my first time staying here. Mrs. K. booked the facility, thinking it would be close to our son's house. Oops. My first impression when I walked in was that this was a dump. It's not a dump; it just gave me the wrong impression. The room was fine. The bed was fine. The free breakfast was fine. The staff was fine. Making up the room not so fine. Couldn't figure the schedule. In our 4 days of staying it was made up once. Parking looked like it would be a problem, but it never was. We always found a spot. A true test is whether I would stay here again. If it were closer to my son's house, yes. However, I can't change the distance, so no. I think this is a one-and-done situation.

The staff is very attentive and on top of things. The location is not good and the breakfast is repetitive but it's a great spot to land if you just need to be near the airport or do things in Melrose Park because that town is a pit.

I've only stayed here once, but I could easily see myself being a repeat visitor when I need somewhere close to stay near ORD. Hampton Inn typically is what it is and my expectations aren't necessarily super high, just that they are an affordable and reliable place to stay for an evening. This Hampton Inn feel like a step above other ones and I'm all for it! Location wise, it is perfect for a next day flight out of ORD. It's probably 10 minutes driving from the airport and has access to shuttles. It isn't a place you'd want to stay multiple nights though, there really isn't much around it. There's only 1 restaurant that I would consider to be within walking distance. Traffic can get busy during the rush hour time, but it's not too difficult to get there from the airport. Amenities-wise, everything is there! Free breakfast, purchasable snacks, seating, tv, wifi, a expansive gym, a pool, you name it! Everything is kept orderly and even appears to be upgraded. The cushioned booths have plugs within the furniture, the lobby is bright and clean and the equipment in the facilities is modern! Lastly, the rooms are great. Furniture is with the times, appliances and lighting are sleek and efficient and everything is comfortable. What more could you ask for?

Hampton Inn is probably the most reliable no-frills hotel chain in the country, so thank goodness it has such a vast footprint. The Hampton Inn O'Hare is not, in actual fact, at O'Hare but some four miles away. However, the shuttle service is very responsive, and one will come out and fetch you after 2AM with a phone call. This property seemed quite recently refreshed. The furniture struck me as designed for efficiency, with plenty of storage and room to work assembled into a compact space that somehow doesn't feel small. The clean, comfortable bed made for sound sleep, and I was surprised how soundless the room was, even though the view from my window was the I-190. The best part of this 9-hour stay was probably the shower - good water pressure and temperature control washed off a day of planes, trains, and automobiles - and the Zero toiletries by Gilchrist and Soames felt rich and smelled heavenly, though I'm skeptical they are really unisex. Hampton Inn is reputed to have the best breakfast-included breakfast buffet in the business, and there were cereals, yogurt, and make-your-own waffles to choose from, while the hot items consisted of potatoes, sausage patties, and powdered eggs. The potatoes couldn't be called home fries, and the eggs were obviously powdered and as greaseless as they were flavorless, so it's quite amazing that they apparently pack 326 kcals per cup. Another signature Hampton Inn amenity is the 24/7 availability of coffee and tea, which (along with the hot shower) was just the ticket when you're rocking up after 2AM.

Requested an early check in but arrived at the hotel pass 330pm. Check in was 30 minutes ago and the receptionist informed me that the room i have chosen via Hilton App was not available because of housekeeping issues. Instead of king bed, my hubby and I have been moved to a double bed and the room is far away from the elevator, the window facing the busy 294. I could feel my ears are about to pop from the noise of the speeding cars. The swimming pool is under maintenance as of 7 November 2022 and will be open hopefully by tomorrow or the following days. They are currently fixing the tiles. Compared to the Palmer Hilton that we stayed a few nights ago, this Hilton hotel is under renovation. So expect a bit of discomfort with the noise and tiling of the floor by the elevator. These location however has been renovated to a modern, simple but elegant and multifunctional look and purpose. There are so many drawers, there's a fridge, microwave, a big flat screen tv, ironing board and desk table. Breakfast is offered in the morning at 530 am till 10 am. Shuttle from the hotel to the airport is every 15-20 minutes. I'd like to give this hotel 5 stars for the benefits and convenience. The downfall for me are the two receptionist who were busy talking with each other and eating while working at the desk. I find them very unprofessional and impolite. There was no formal greeting. Once they gave us the room card, they went back to talking and eating. They have not shown us which way to the elevator towards our room. I hear one of them talking about selling a different room. Anyways being a gold member, we were given free drinks and supposed to be a snack. Whoever is in charge today only gave our drinks, no snacks. Parking is available and free. I recommend this hotel for the low room rate, convenience and modern look. Expect less courtesy from the young receptionists.

I really enjoy staying at Hampton Inn Chicago - O'Hare. There is a free breakfast buffet, free coffee and tea in the lobby, a really nice pool and hot tub, a fitness center, shuttle and you're really close to the airport/Rosemont etc. The rooms are very clean and the front desk staff is friendly and one of the most important things for me - the room rate is pretty affordable compared to some of the more "up-scale" hotels in the area. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for hotels in the area.

I chose Hampton Inn Chicago-O'Hare International Airport because of its distance from American Legion Post 974. Part of my birthday weekend celebration there was a wrestling event there that I intended on seeing. Other things that won me over were its amenities such as its fitness center, indoor pool & spa, and its free buffet breakfast that is available daily. When looking for hotel stay, you literally have to look outside of Yelp because there are some reviews that will discourage you from considering hotel stay anywhere. I have to remind myself that their experiences always differ from my experiences, so why even be discouraged by their review or pictures shared. My planning always involves looking at ratings and reviews from other sites like HotelTonight, and Expedia which Expedia had the Hampton Inn Chicago-O'Hare International Airport rated a 4.4/5 Excellent out of 1,097 reviews at the time of my booking. And Yelp had it rated just short of a 4-star which was all I needed to see to put me at ease along with endorsements from my traveling friends that use Yelp. My experiences with the receptionist (Smitty) behind the desk were nothing less than professional. Since my room was already paid for, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a short briefing of what the hotel offers (breakfast, gym, indoor pool & spa) and giving me my room key and an overnight parking permit. I was also given two complimentary bottles of Niagara purified drinking water which was totally unexpected. For your information check-in starts at 3:00pm, and check-out ends at noon. Wow! The room appeared very nice! Along with its cute color combination, I adored the furniture and decoration. At one point while browsing around, I said to myself "Sh*t! I am definitely staying here again!". I was also happy that I had a room along the main road of N Mannheim Rd which added life being that I could hear traffic. Another thing I loved were the Neutrogena products inside of the bathroom that I absolutely took with me upon my departure, hehe. The room met my cleanliness standards! I had no issues whatsoever sleeping in the king-sized bed during my overnight stay. Not once did I wake up as my head was engulfed in-between the comfortable pillows. The shower was okay! I was not too fond of the water pressure, but I did feel clean after utilizing it, plus it was cool toggling with the spray patterns. Other things the room came with were a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and many electrical outlets with USB insert. It was a relief to have the free buffet breakfast option in the morning because I did not have to worry about it prior to departure. It was open from 5:00am to 10:30am, and the selections available were presentable and freshly made. Stayed one night here because I just needed a place to crash after a late night arrival from an international flight. This hotel is currently under construction. Mostly on the front side of the hotel and the lobby. I requested a room on the back side and didn't hear any construction noise. They have a swimming pool and hot tub. Buffet breakfast was not bad with hot items such as eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles. Only annoyance is I wanted to park here during my trip and stay the night when I return, but they do not allow that. They only allow you to FIRST stay a night in the hotel, then you can leave your car during your trip and pick it up on your return. I didn't understand the logic with that. Staff were all friendly. I'd recommend if you have a late night or early morning flight out of O'Hare.

Had the best experience at the Hampton Inn. Elise, George, and the entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. Check-in was a breeze, they ask if you would like housekeeping, if you need a parking pass (free), or if there's anything else they could do to accommodate your stay. This location is in close proximity to lots of things including O'Hare airport and if you're renting a car, very close to the CTA line to get to the city. I enjoyed the cleanliness, modern rooms, continental breakfast in the morning, bottles of water, comfy beds, coffee + tea. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or fitness room but that's a great amenity to have. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance - inside is nicely renovated and the staff is A+. Would certainly return again! Keep up the good work!!
