I would like to express my disappointment with the recent decline in the quality and selection of the buffet at this establishment. During our Easter brunch visit, we noticed a significant drop in the standard we had come to expect. The management's attempt to refute our observations on Google reviews prompted me to share my experience here. The Easter Bunny was noticeably absent, and the tiny baby shrimp served appeared to be frozen and thawed, lacking any flavor. The management's response that they compensate for this with other offerings does not address the issue of the shrimp's quality. Our server was often absent during our meal, despite the fact that the restaurant was not particularly busy. In the past, there used to be long lines of people waiting to be seated, but now the place is almost deserted. The management's explanation that customers disliked the long waits does not account for the lack of reservations. I kindly suggest that it would be more beneficial to focus on improving the quality of the buffet and service rather than making excuses. I hope that the management will take these concerns into consideration and work towards restoring the establishment's reputation. EDITED. It seems like this establishment can not take criticism and stalk those who post an honest review, as evidenced not only by this review but also by others on this platform. No matter that you're not a restaurant. If you serve food, you should be prepared to serve the best. This type of social media stalking and excuse making only makes my opinion worse. If you've been in business this long, surely you've had bad reviews before. Do better, be professional, and don't act like a petulant teen girl.

I came here for a friends 90 year old mom's celebration, and I must add I have been here for prior banquets also so it came as no surprise. But this time I will review as I was pleasantly surprised on the ambience and the quietness of the hall. This time I did notice they do have slot machines in front, which I was puzzled about since it is a banquet hall, but nothing surprises me any longer so that's just a sign of the times I guess. The service as far as the banquet hall was as always, amazing. From the bartender and the cocktail to even the prices, although this time around they do use card machines also vs cash. Cash is still king but I like the option of using my plastic and giving the cash in tips, they appreciate it and I also do. The service in the actual serving at the banquet hall was a little to all over the place. Thus, me giving the score I did. First off half of the people started leaving an hour before it ended but I think it was in part to the dinner came out and it was dragging for the servers to get all the dinners served. What struck me even more was that dessert (which basically was cake and ice cream) came out 5 minutes before we were all leaving, that is a big no no. When I asked the host what the reason was that they served it so late, she said, the staff there was responsible for serving and times so she was also perplexed. Regardless, that is unacceptable. But I digress. The food was amazing and the variety of food was perfection, served a little late but I can let that go. I still was able to try to the dessert but still I was leaving. If you want a banquet for your next function, would I recommend? Probably yes, but make sure all the kinks are fixed first as this may get you upset. Oh and did I mention, it is still fairly antiquated but functional and worth it. And parking is plentiful .

I had my wedding there in November I was really surprised by the service didn't seem to care very rude made my DJ bring down the music really low so the party next could have theirs loud so we couldn't hear our music at all I complained and it fell on deaf ears I was very disappointed when I went to book the place they fell over backwards and promised the moon it was the opposite!!!'

This venue was a blessing amidst the pandemic. My good friend Alice, recommended this place with rave reviews about the food. We called, we visited, we immediately booked the platinum package in the staircase room for our wedding ceremony. Argiris helped us with our selections. Outside of the assistance of Eventsbytiffanyr.com for wedding coordination and additional decorations, my two sister-in-laws...making sure the table linens and chair covers were spotless, my uncle and his daughter-in-law assisting with the picture backdrop and balloons; my wedding was planned and successfully executed in 43 days. I was not a bridezilla! I was surrounded by 50 people who love and adore my husband and I. The food was in abundance and truly delicious, the cake ...which was included was delicious. The staff were nice and easy to deal with. Our family enjoyed the open bar. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. We love NIKOS Banquets for making our wedding day special and easy.

This is more a 3.5 star rating. My family and I have booked events at Niko's for years. We've had baby showers, a 50'th wedding anniversary, etc. Niko's is very accommodating and offer great prices on certain days of the week. The food is top notch, and the service is friendly and quick for a room of 100+. The staff went above and beyond to keep the guests happy. Unfortunately, Niko's is showing its age in the interior. Understandably, renovations can take time out of a banquet season for a biz that depends on those weekends. That too takes a toll where bathrooms are showing their wear and tear, the carpeting, flooring, paint, and finishes/decorative lighting is also showing their age. Hopefully Niko's will do a facelift soon. With the influx of new biz from Toyota Park, perhaps having a facelift from inside and out will add to the happy clients in the future.

Attended a quinceanera here recently. This place is a typical banquet hall that serves typical banquet hall food. Nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible. If you're looking for a space to have a party this place will do.

After many years of using this venue for private banquets we have hit the wall with this place. The price they charge is too high for the lack of professionalism we witnessed at our 2022 luncheon. We had to wait throughout the building nearly an hour because they had not cleaned the room from the night before, it was a mess. We finally got in the room, I pulled my chair back to sit down and there as a half eaten roll still on the floor. Enough for cleaning up! The coffee that was supposed to be on the tables was set up in a closed walkway that was out of sight to 75% of the guest. When the food came 2 hrs late the salad dressing was thinned, only 1 choice and there wasn't enough to go around an 8 seat table, the soup was thinned!. When the food arrived half the Entrees were warm the rest were cold. 3 attempts at heating mixed vegetables barely warmed them or maybe they were just walking them out the room and bringing them back! The salt and pepper were a horror story, the contents were hard like they had gotten wet, allowed to dry and set back out on the table. It was difficult trying to explain what was going wrong, because of language barriers. I could go on but I'm going to stop with this, we are done with Niko's, I wouldn't plan another event there or go to one that I was invited to!

This place is very professional, clean and does job in the best possible way so that every customer can feel welcome. I've been coming here for the past two years and I have nothing but the best to say about this business. Both owners are great, friendly and helpful, and all employees are doing great job. I'm highly recommending them!

Absolutely pitiful. Please do not go here and if you do, put your expectations to the floor. No, the basement cellar. Everything was just so.. bleh. Half of our cups had lipstick on them before we even got there. The silverware was just as crusty. The food was lukewarm and the items that were supposed to be cold were not. Everything was just room temperature making it pretty unappetizing. No refills for water and other drinks, making it a landfill of empty glasses that no one came to clear. I watched the man serving the meat (ham and not so prime rib - extremely fatty) quite literally cough straight over both slabs of meats while his hands were cutting the food. Just gross. The atmosphere was the same as an old retirement home, which there's nothing wrong with old chaps, but there's a point where you want to be surrounded by healthy people. All in all, If there was a way for me to put zero stars I would.

We came here and requested a quote for the hall rental and they were extremely nice, informative and after eight emails and answering all of our questions we decided to move forward and they went ahead and gave the hall to somebody else without a courtesy call. All family members involved in this conversation clearly are upset at the way this was handled and obviously a courtesy call would've been appreciated from a professional standpoint. It would've been nice if they would've told us that they were going to go ahead and give it to someone else, a simple courtesy call would've been a nice professional touch to avoid the inconvenience of us having to locate another venue. When good paying customer call your place of business you always to them to give him a courtesy call from a professional standpoint, this was not done and this is why our family members are all upset at your location and will not do business with you ever again-Your response is NOT ACCURATE and if you like I can have her other family members verify this accuracy online so you can hear all sides. (Updated this based on your False comments). We are taking our time to tell the public what actually happened to avoid a HEARTBREAK!! WE SHOULD BE TREATED RESPECTFULLY, WE ARE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WITH SERIOUS LIFE EVENTS!!! We will never consider this place ever, due to this bad experience!!!
