Panino's Pizzeria in Park Ridge was such a fun spot to try. I started with the Panzerottini, which are like little pizza rolls so good, though a bit on the oily side. My absolute favorite was the Cavatelli Vodka. I'm a sucker for good vodka pasta and this one was creamy, flavorful, and honestly one of the best pasta dishes I've had in the suburbs. The pizza was also really solid with a crispy crust, and I love that they offer several different crust options to switch it up next time. To end the meal, I had fried dough topped with Nutella and it was the perfect sweet bite fresh, warm, and so tasty. The service here really stood out too. My server was kind and attentive, and I even got to meet Sarah, one of the owners, who was so welcoming and friendly. The whole team made the place feel warm and inviting. They have multiple locations, but the Park Ridge one has a great atmosphere and even a cute patio for nicer weather. It does get busy, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. Great spot for pasta, pizza, and a cozy meal.

Stop Gouging Customers Covid is over, no need to add a hospitality fee when customers are backed up. #Money Grab Server was not attentive, unable to get food out in a timely manner. Third time this happened. Food however was good.

Their food and service does not disappoint. Consistent every time we eat here. The ambience is more like an Italian cafe that one would find in Naples, Italy. The pizzas are very authentic Italian

Panino's has been in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember, and for some reason my family never really dined here until recently. We've always eaten some small bites at the local food festivals, but I guess we were always under the impression that Panino's only served / was only good for pizza. I was proven wrong, with my first time dining in showcasing their ability to cook some seriously great Italian dishes and changing my mind on this just being an ordinary pizzeria. The dining area is small but cozy, with a cute atmosphere that is perfect for intimate gatherings or family dinners. You wouldn't expect this from their whimsical logo and signage on the outside, to my surprise the area felt welcoming and a bit more upscale, unlike most pizzerias that push for take-out or delivery. For food we opted for the Regina Margherita pizza, Linguine Chicken Tettrazini, and lasagna - all based on recommendations provided by our amazing waitress. For starters we got the riceballs, fried calamari and cream of chicken soup. There was not one thing from this long list that we ordered that we were unsatisfied with, and everything was extremely good, fresh, and of the highest quality. The chicken tettrazini definitely surprised me the most, as I always knew this to be a quick family meal at home made with canned cream soups. This rendition of a comforting dish was definitely more luxurious, cheesy, and made so well. The pizza was amazing, with the dough being airy and crispy and the char from the wood fired oven adding great flavor. The cream of chicken soup was addicting....didn't think that was something I would enjoy as much as I did! The staff here is all so welcoming and attentive. We visited on a Thursday evening for dinner and though tables were filling up with the dinner rush beginning, our waitress was always checking in on us, making casual conversation while juggling all the other patrons simultaneously. It's quite evident that Paninos is popular with the amount of people dining in, taking out, and delivery orders during the short amount of time we were there, so I highly recommend reservations if you have a larger party or if you're planning on having a meal during the weekends!

The Pizza is good but it's Chicago, the pizza is good everywhere. The pizza here is some of the most expensive you will find in the Chicagoland area. I paid $33 for a 14 inch pizza, pick up order. They told me it would be ready in 45 minutes which I thought seemed a little long. Sure enough I got there 43 minutes later and the place was dead and my pizza was almost room temp as if it had been waiting for me for the last 25 minutes.

My cousin introduced me to this hidden gem in Park Ridge. You can't get authentic Italian anywhere better. I'll put my money on the baked clams here against anything in the city. New Haven style pizza with housemade sausage was excellent. We also shared a seafood salad which came with escarole and beans...delicious. Full bar excellent service. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Gino who has spreading his wonderful culinary skills all over the world. Great guy Place is small but very accommodating. A must try

It was okay. It won't ever rise to the level of my favorite pizza but I'd have it again. We got a pizza with sausage, pepperoni, olives, and green peppers. The ingredients seemed good quality. We also got the Gino's rolls and those were not good; there was too much bread and they were a little too charred for my preference. The desserts were good though; we got the limoncello cake and tiramisu. The tiramisu was my favorite but you'd do well with either. I will try them again because they have several styles of pizza, they have daily specials, and they have more than just pizza. I'm curious about the New Haven style and might be interested in trying the thin too.

We stopped in at 8:30 on a Wednesday evening and received a warm welcome as the kitchen is open until 9. The waiter Fred treated us with genuine warmth and was so excited to make suggestions on the menu. The seasonal gnocchi filled with pumpkin in a brown butter, sage sauce was amazing! The brick oven pizzas were excellent as well, we tried a white pizza - think cheesy garlicky goodness and a light chunky tomato with sausage pizza. Both had a wonderful chew to the crust. The restaurant is cozy, with a smaller dining room so be sure to call ahead. There is a cute outdoor area on the sidewalk outside as well. They are extremely supportive of people with celiac issues. They have pasta and pizza crust that are without gluten.

I've gone to Panino's in Park Ridge a few times in the past 4-5 years, and have never had a bad pizza or any bad pasta entrees ever. It's always been a very good experience. So I'm not sure what happened, but this weekend we picked up 2 different pasta entree's for dinner to go and meatballs, and the food was not good at all. Most of the problem could be pointed directly at the pasta sauce. It literally tasted like somebody took puréed crushed tomato right out of the can and microwaved it real quick and dumped it on the food. There was no hint of salt, oregano or garlic. The sauce was an embarrassment! The meatballs came in a container with the same flavorless sauce. The meatballs too were flavorless. It just tasted like somebody rolled ground beef into balls and cooked them. No garlic, no salt or pepper - just nothing! The 2nd entree was also terrible.

We have been loyal to Panino's since we moved here in 2020. But the quality of food, especially the pizza has gotten significantly worse over the last year. We are hoping things improve, but we will ordering elsewhere until that happens.
