I had Prime Taco when we had it catered at a work event, it was by far the best tacos I have ever had. I had the carne asada tacos on a corn tortilla and it was so delicious!

DO NOT HIRE FOR PRIVATE EVENTS We hired Prime Tacos to cater our wedding on July 11, 2025, and unfortunately, our experience did not live up to expectations. The Good: The food itself, from what guests were able to try, received generally positive feedback. The Issues: Booking Confusion: A month before the wedding, Prime Tacos claimed they had lost our invoice and booking details. This caused unnecessary stress close to the event and left us uncertain about whether they were reliable. It also lead to confusion later about timing. Reduced Service Time: We had paid for 4 hours of taco truck service (9 p.m. to 1 a.m.), but the truck did not begin serving until around 10:30 p.m, due to some miscommunication with the wedding planners. It shut down by midnight--leaving us with only two hours of actual service. This discrepancy wasn't cleared up even though I had originally booked for 1am. They could have easily double checked with me if they were detailed about start and end times. Bride Denied Food: At the end of the night, my wife (the bride) went to get tacos and was told service had ended. She pleaded with them and said "but I'm the bride"...Being told "it's too late" on your own wedding night is very disappointing and unacceptable. Especially since it was only 15 minutes after they had stopped service. This is the most disappointing part! Unapproved Menu Changes: We paid extra for steak tacos, but were served chicken and birria instead--without prior notice or consent. I paid extra to have steak, and none of my guest actually had streak tacos. I was told by a guest that when they asked what they had, steak was not mentioned. Arguments: When the taco truck arrived, they argued about where to park with the photo booth vendor we had there. The best man at one point was involved in trying to resolve the issue. They were argumentative and caused a scene. Unprofessional Handling: When we expressed our concerns, the business owner repeatedly deflected blame onto our wedding planner, our photo booth vendor, and even the weather. All I asked for was my tip returned, since there was so much unprofessionalism happening that night and they refused. Final Thoughts: We understand that events can be chaotic and that not everything always goes as planned. But what's most disappointing is the lack of accountability. Instead of owning up to mistakes and offering a good-faith resolution, we received defensive responses and shifting blame.
