Beware!! Children all over the place! People everywhere. Don't even try the pool, which is one of the reasons we booked. Packed with screaming kids, day and night. We tried 5 times. Probably  because it's  close to Navy pier. With that said, the hotel is nice. Modern decor, room was very comfy and spacious. Liked the concrete and simple furnishings. Water and coffee in rooms. Coffee  in lobby in the morning.

Hotel was in perfect location, easy walking access to Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier, and Hancock Observation Deck. Lots of restaurant options. Did not use the pool, however it’s much smaller than what the picture makes it seem. Room was a good size for two adults and a teen. Lost a star due to the bathroom. Barn door did not offer much privacy, could use more towel hooks and water pressure was on the lower side. Overall great value and would stay again.

The best thing I can say about the Aloft hotel on Ontario street Chicago is it’s a few blocks from the Magnificent Mile and some great restaurants. Otherwise the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The ceilings and walls are unfinished concrete looks like a construction site. Bathroom faucet no water pressure. Shower no grab bar, no shelf for soap or your own toiletries. No closet in room, a bar with some open hangers, I don’t know who designed this room to think it was functional or attractive. Breakfast vouchers are a joke. Out of stock on biscuit sandwiches terrible choices no real restaurant on property. You order what they call food at the front desk.
Paid over $200 each night for this room, they clean every other day- they gave us fresh towels but left the wet towels on the floor.worst disappointment I ever experienced. I stayed at Aloft in Florida and it was very nice.
I don’t recommend this place, even though its reviews say it’s excellent, Don’t know why they stop offering coffee at 11am, even  la Quinta offers coffee in the evening. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone with an ounce of class. Ugly whare house feel. We are here for the entire week. Can’t wait to checkout, I will never come back again, when I stay in a hotel and pay good money I expect a hotel and not a bare bones bunker.  Blech!!

Hotel was great. Really fun vibe, lots of families and dogs, and just overall a great spot to stay for the price. The pool is small and was literally full of like 20 kids at 8pm on a Sunday. Lobby has a decent bar, live dj on Saturdays, lots of people hanging out/coming and going. Plenty of restaurants nearby and it’s in a great location.  Rooms were clean, staff was polite and helpful, decent coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!!

We spent approx a week in Aloft Mag Mile and honestly all staff were very kind and helpful even cleaning ladys. The location is very good, the room was good size, everyday cleaning and fresh towels, every other day they changed the bed sheets. We have received green necklace at the reception for St. Patrick. This trip was our firt trip the USA and it was amazing. Thank you Aloft, thank you Chicago.
