My family and I had dinner for six at this location.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was truly delightful, combining elegance with a fun and lively ambiance that promoted a sense of relaxation and enjoyment. The staff were attentive and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience we had during our visit.

However, I feel it is important to bring to your attention the pricing of the meals. Despite the enjoyable evening we had, the total cost amounted to nearly $500 for six people. This price included only two appetizers, six entrees, and six drinks. We understand that quality dining comes at a cost, so just be prepared when dining at this restaurant.

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that we had a very pleasant time and appreciated the overall experience provided. The quality of the food and service was commendable, contributing to a memorable evening for my family.

Trendy operation.  Dominated by young twenty and thirty something food and atmosphere-centric customers.  Cool, bohemian-ish  seating with lots of color, plants, candles, and eccentric lighting.  Server seemed a bit ‘much’ at the beginning then not around when i needed him for practical things later on. They don’t answer the phone as a policy and basically insist on reservations on-line in advance.  I left something behind and tried to call them to identify it in the lost and found … no answer.  Gave up.  Overall enthusiastically recommended.  Definitely a good place to try in Chicago.

I made a dinner reservation two weeks in advance, arrived on time, and still had to wait 15 minutes for a table.

The atmosphere was a perfect blend of elegance and positive energy, creating a welcoming and enjoyable setting. The staff were very attentive, further enhancing our visit.

Despite the excellent ambiance, the quality of the dishes was disappointing, didn’t live up to expectations. The menu is limited, with several items unavailable. The food was unremarkable, nothing special.

It’s certainly a great option for enjoying the river view, especially during the summer.

I visited the West Town location a few years ago and had a fantastic experience, so when I was back in Chicago recently, I decided to check out the River North location for brunch. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

I ordered the chicken and peas, while my friend went for the steak and eggs. Both dishes left something to be desired. The steak was tough and hard to cut through, lacking the tenderness you’d expect from a quality cut. Similarly, my chicken was overcooked and also difficult to cut, which was disappointing given how promising the dish sounded on the menu.

We also tried a couple of drinks, but they didn’t impress either. They were drinkable, but they lacked the balance I’ve come to expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

On the positive side, the servers were friendly, though I found the service a bit lacking in attentiveness. The atmosphere, however, was beautiful – the space had a great vibe, and it was clear a lot of care went into the design.

Overall, while the River North location has a lovely ambiance, the food and service didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I’ll likely give it another shot in the future, but this visit was a bit of a letdown.

Got sat right away and near the river and the overall restaurant ambiance is beautiful. Food was delicious, shared the crispy artichoke and hummus with octopus and vegetable crudite.

Service was a bit slow to start.

The only downfall was not having an elevator. My mom has a bad hip and going up stairs is hard. They informed us the elevator was only for private parties. Will be back but will request to sit on the main level.

Denna vackra plats i centrala Chicago, precis vid floden, helt vunnit oss över! Utsikten ensam är värt ett besök - lugnande, öppen och perfekt för en avslappnad eftermiddag eller en levande kväll ute. 

Vi njöt av en mängd olika smakrika arabiska rätter - krämiga pålägg, krispig falafel, rik shakshuka och varm, färsk pita - stil tunnbröd som band ihop allt perfekt. Varje tugga var full av autentiska kryddor och tröstande texturer. Som grädde på moset valde vi cocktails, och de var lika imponerande - uppfriskande, balanserade och fulla av karaktär. 

Atmosfären i restaurangen lägger ytterligare ett lager till upplevelsen. Inredningen är levande och full av blommor och färgglada accenter, vilket skapar en glädjefylld och Välkomnande atmosfär som känns både livlig och mysig. 

Vi rekommenderar helhjärtat denna plats - för maten, utsikten, vibe. Det är en perfekt blandning av smak och skönhet mitt i hjärtat av staden.

Wow, älskade det här! Vi stannade här på väg till och från tågstationen i helgen. Vi åt avokado till förrätt och tonfisksmörgås till lunch. Mat och dryck var på punkt! På söndagen njöt vi av drinkar på uteplatsen. Vår server, Michael M, var fantastisk. Så kul och han höll även koll på vår avgångstid för tågstationen. Hela stämningen här är bara bra! Atmosfären, musiken och Servicen är bara riktigt bra. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka!

Vilken häftig miljö! Vi tittade in utan reservation så vi satt i baren tills bordet var klart. Bartendern var uppmärksam och gjorde fantastiska drinkar. 

Vid bordet var stämningen bra och servitören förklarade och pekade ut delar av menyn. 

Vi gick med hamburgarna och wow de weee fantastiskt, parat med tryffel pommes frites, wow. 

Bra ställe att äta när du vill äta och njuta av Chicago

Den mest fantastiska restaurangen vid Riverwalk! Allvarligt, alla rätter som vi hade i vår lilla händelse applåderades av våra gäster. Från Mezze Platter som de flesta av mina gäster beställde för en repris, till Tonfisk Ceviche och Octopus & Hummus var fenomenala, till Short Rib som lämnade mina gäster mållösa. Bokstavligen alla berömde hur trevlig restauranginredningen är med utsikt över floden. Ropa till Meghan och Michael för bästa Service. Kommer säkert tillbaka!

God mat, trevliga cocktails, energisk atmosfär. Jag kan dock inte säga mer än så, eftersom vi var på gatusidan (utomhus) , inte vattensidan. Jag skulle vilja återvända och uppleva resten av stället.

Vi satt ute, och stämningen var så fantastisk att jag visste att det skulle bli en fantastisk upplevelse, oavsett hur maten smakade. Brunchmenyn var ganska begränsad, men vi beställde shakshouka och grönkålssallad med lax, och båda var goda.

Estetiken i restaurangen var vacker, men servicen var mycket nedslående. Vi kunde inte beställa någon varm mat förrän en timme efter vår bokning. Båda servrarna var inte nådiga och nedlåtande. Vi hade stora förhoppningar, men levde tyvärr inte upp till våra förväntningar.

Detta är en stor plats! Jag har varit i Chicago många gånger, men har inte haft nöjet att komma på denna anläggning förrän nyligen. Vi gick in, fick en tvåa i baren och bartendern var omedelbart vid vårt bord med vatten, och tog vår drinkbeställning trots att han var väldigt upptagen. Maten var helt fantastisk! Det är en unik meny, med en unik känsla. Föreslå starkt! Servicen var fantastisk!

Maten var god. Utsikten var fantastisk. Servicen var bra. Kreditkort serviceavgift som inte avslöjades var irriterande.

Kan inte tala för maten som vi var tvungna att gå upp och lämna. Var satt på uteplatsen och ignoreras i 15 - 20 minuter som flera personal gick förbi. Så småningom tog glas för vatten men inget vatten. Efter ytterligare 5 minuter åkte vi. Så i princip hemsk service. Det finns för många andra alternativ för att slösa tid där.

Min dotter bad att få komma på hennes födelsedag. Mauricio tog väl hand om oss, han var uppmärksam utan att sväva. Faktum är att all personal vi kom i kontakt med var underbar. Matsalen nere längs floden är super cool. Du måste uppleva det. Maten var enastående. Vi delade tallrikar och fick en mängd olika objekt. Jag hörde inga klagomål. De kunde ta emot min yngsta som inte kan ha gluten. Ibland kan det vara svårt och de kunde ge alternativ. Bara en fantastisk upplevelse runt. Tack igen Mauricio och Beatnik.

Värdinnan Kira var den oförskämdaste restaurang anställd jag någonsin har interagerat med. Vi var ett stort parti, och hon var konsekvent nedlåtande, sarkastisk, och snappily anklagade oss flera gånger för att inte bekräfta vår bokning (och var återigen oförskämd när vi berättade för henne att vi hade bekräftat det flera timmar tidigare). Vi övervägde att lämna och gå till en annan restaurang på grund av henne, men gjorde inte eftersom vi hade en reservation. Maten var okej, vår servitris var stor, och atmosfären i restaurangen var vacker, men vår interaktion med värdinnan förstörde vår natt. Jag har sett andra kommentarer på nätet som klagar på värdinnan på Beatnik, så det verkar som om hon är ett pågående problem. Skulle inte rekommendera till andra på grund av vår kränkande erfarenhet med värdinnan - hon kommer att förstöra din natt.

Detta var en av våra favoritplatser under hela vår resa till Chicago. Vi hade reservationer på en onsdag kl 11.00. Vi satt och väntade på snabbt. Maten kom ut snabbt precis som beställt och det var utsökt. Platsen är älskling och att kunna sitta precis vid floden medan du äter var SÅ trevligt. En maträtt som var tom satt inte på vårt bord i mer än en minut innan en av bussarna fick den ur vägen. De tog väl hand om oss och jag skulle rekommendera denna plats till alla som tog en resa eller restauranger i Chicago.

Maten var utmärkt, bärnsten vår servitris var stor. Men värdinnan var fruktansvärd. Aldrig blivit tilltalad på det sättet - ange tonen för hela måltiden. Det var en av de konstigaste upplevelser jag någonsin haft på en restaurang. Vi borde ha gått direkt då.

Denna plats är perfekt för datum, casual meet ups, affärsmöten etc. Atmosfären är vacker, maten var bra, servicen var perfekt och värdinnan var perfektion när den var som finast. Älskar det här stället!
