Wonderful family run place with incredible food, great service & atmosphere!! A neighborhood gem.

Ethiopian food is one of my favorite cuisines and I've been coming here for over a decade. The quality is always spot on and it's great for groups. Stop by the indoor flea market next door for an Edgewater experience.

Really tasty food! Loved the beet salad especially. The dressing was really nice and it tasted fresh. Tried the national dish of Ethiopia, Doro Wat, and it was the bomb. Absolutely incredible.

Really nice retro ambience. The food was light and really delicious, with sufficient vegetarian options. The Ethiopian coffee was a magnificent experience. Best of all was the owner and the staff! They were so warm and inviting. Definitely hope to visit again.

My family had never tried Ethiopian food before. We decided to try this place in 2015 and wow… we now visit multiple times a year. It is our “go-to” for family events and when people are in town visiting. Even my sister’s kids who are 3 and 5 enjoy it. Even the picky eaters who have not tried a lot of non American foods enjoy it. I could not recommend this place enough!!!! The service is always good and the food is AMAZING.

Absolutely postitively amazing culinary experience. I had gluten free injera, split peas, collard greens, and cabbage. It was a complete flavor explosion in my mouth. I can't wait to return. The customer service was phenomenal and the beet salad was incredible!!!

Vi hade grönsaksprovtagaren och det var utsökt. Portionerna var stora och trots att vi blev mätta ville vi fortsätta äta eftersom det var så gott. Grönsakerna och linserna är särskilt goda, men vi älskade verkligen allt.

Ethiopian Diamond är en av våra omgivningar som går till restauranger. Servrarna är alltid mycket vänliga. Maten är utsökt! Det har vegetariska alternativ liksom lamm, nötkött, kyckling, räkor och tilapia. Vi lämnar alltid nöjda men alltför fyllda!

Tja trots att det är alla hjärtans dag. Jag firar själv att jag börjar en ny möjlighet att arbeta igen som ledamot för teknikledamöter på alla hjärtans dag. Jag har varit i Etiopien tidigare och det har varit ett tag sedan jag har haft etiopisk mat. När jag först försökte det innan jag åkte till Etiopien blev jag fascinerad eftersom jag hade en kollega som jag arbetade med inom teknik som är etiopisk och var bara nyfiken på hur afrikansk mat specifikt etiopisk mat ser ut och smakar ut. Det är faktiskt inte dåligt. Och detta var en av mina första etiopiska restauranger som jag hade den upplevelsen tillbaka 1999. Jag visste inte att etiketten för att äta etiopisk mat var mycket gemensam som hade ett surt som pannkakebröd kallat "Injera". Det var lite spännande och jag försökte grytorna. Just nu äter jag en "Kitfo" -rätt som är finskiven köttfärs med spenat och en ost som du blandar och plockar upp med Injera-brödet. Jag dricker mitt te eller "Shai" för att avsluta och håller på att beställa en efterrätt som heter "My destaye". Jag hade åkt till Etiopien tidigare och det är fantastiskt hur etiopierna kunde äta detta nästan på alla deras tre måltider och inte tröttna på att äta Injera-bröd. Det här är första gången jag skriver en bra recension om dem eftersom det var den första etiopiska restaurangen jag har varit sedan 1998 innan jag tog av med Etiopien. Förhoppningsvis är någon av mina elitvänner beredda att prova något exotiskt.

Denna plats lever upp för dess namn, det är en av edgewater juveler. Maten är god, stämningen är himmelska och personalen är mycket vänlig.

Vi gick in och kände genast som att detta utrymme var en plats där du kunde ta dig tid att äta och där du kunde njuta av en fantastisk konversation. Vi hade rätt. Vi beställde spenat sambusas för en aptitretare och vegetarisk kombination. Det hade Shimbra Assa, Yemisir Wat, Kik Alicha, Gomen, Quosta och Tekel Gomen. Varje maträtt var så full av smak och var var så annorlunda än den andra. Injera var så lätt och svampig. Vänta personal var mycket trevlig. Jag var ledsen över att de hade slut på etiopiskt öl, men det betyder bara att vi kommer tillbaka för att försöka det.

På denna plats är maten ungefär genomsnittlig för köket. Bröd används för att äta med och maten är god. Det är lätt för vegetarianer att äta här. Jag hade vegetarian den här gången och det var ganska bra. Inredningen är lämplig och det skulle vara lätt att äta en familjemel i en avslappnad atmosfär.

Deras mat är alltid utsökt! På detta senaste besök beställde vi Tour of Ethiopia (?) Och en lammrätt. Liksom deras husvin - honungsvin. Min favorit plats att gå för etiopisk mat. Tjänsten är alltid vänlig och restaurangen atmosfären är avkopplande. Gatuparkering kan vara utmanande men värt resan. Alltid njut av att komma hit.

Första gången i en etiopisk restaurang var maten utsökt, priserna adekvata, tjänsten ok. Bara förbered dig själv att ingen silverfodral används om du inte specifikt begär det.

1 gatan som någonsin äter etiopisk mat. Massor av alternativ för dem som är vegan / vegetarian. Det är byob men det finns en $ 10 per flaska corkage avgift. Restaurangen är större än den ser utifrån. Vi hade den traditionella kombinationsmålet för 2. (Jag tror det är vad det kallas). Även maten som inte var angiven som kryddig var för kryddig för mig. Jag åtnjöt inte något av köttalternativen i vår kombination. Jag njöt bara av potatis och gröna. Brödet är svampigt och har en sur degen med smak. Om jag kommer tillbaka skulle jag bara äta potatisalternativ och gröna.

Min dotter och jag looove kommer hit, så vi bestämde oss för att ta med en av mina elever tillsammans. Hon har inte haft mycket erfarenhet av etnisk mat och olika kryddor / smaker men hon kom direkt in i det. Inte bara är maten smaskig, men det är ett nytt sätt att interagera med din tallrik och de människor du delar med.

Detta är ett bra ställe att prova olika etiopiska rätter och smaker. En mycket unik middagsupplevelse. Personalen är vänlig och uppmärksam.

Min man och jag, tillsammans med våra tre unga barn njöt verkligen av den mycket goda matlagningstraditioner rätter. Det var första gången för våra barn och vi alla åt tills vi var med maximal kapacitet! Den injera var ljus och fluffiga, den perfekta följeslagaren till de olika rätter. Jag älskade den linser och kale, barnen älskade dem, och den kötträtter. Vår server var underbart, hon rekommenderade rätter för oss och visade ungarna hur att äta injera med alla de läckra smaker och konsistenser. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Aldrig att ha varit i en etiopisk restaurang jag hade ingen aning om vad som väntar oss. Vår servitris var gick oss genom de olika nivåer av en kryddig för de många rätter på menyn. Vi hade ett enastående kombination av lammkött, nötkött, räkor och grönsaker. Det var en enastående middag lagts till av två olika typer av sallader. Vad en enastående måltid!

Detta var den bästa upplevelse jag har haft. Den atmosfär, personalen och maten var utmärkt. Beställde en vegetarisk små munsbitar för 2 extra en lamm maträtt och en kyckling maträtt alla serveras på en stor tallrik för 5 av oss att dela. Beställde den Honung Vin, gjorde inte att njuta av så mycket som andra har men värt det (utmaningsserien).
Skulle definitivt rekommendera och kommer att återvända ASAP.
