This place lives up to the hype and is what I would expect from a solid 2-star Michelin restaurant. The price for what you get was spot on and an excellent value in this foodies opinion.

The service was excellent and the decor is phenomenal.

Food wise, the stars were: Alaskan King Crab, Peking Duck, and Wagyu Beef courses. Out of the 9 courses, nothing went untouched- which is rare at this level of creativity.

I firmly believe that if they wanted a 3rd star, they could obtain it with some targeted changes.

The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because I think it is overpriced. The dining experience was less than 2 hours and the other Michelin star restaurants I’ve been (2-3 stars) usually last at least 3 hours to provide you with a more comprehensive experience.

The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and the staff was very nice and attentive.

The food was great, with the highlight being the squash and squab. The potato/pasta dish was my least favorite, it felt too much for what it was. The cranberry dessert was phenomenal.

Overall, definitely enjoyed it and would recommend.

This was my first Michelin Star experience. The thought and detail that go into the service and dishes are impeccable. Do yourself a favor and get the non-spirit pairing instead of the wine pairing. Each drink was related to the dish and each was delicious. Menu is seasonal and I went during the winter menu so ingredients used are what is most fresh this time of year. My favorite dish was coconut chicken soup and the grilled hiramasa fish. At the end they offer a tour of the kitchen and I was able to see the chefs at work and got a quick explanation on how they make this flawless service possible. The owner and chef, Curtis Duffy, was also there! Very expensive but worth the money in my opinion!

Wonderful food, really would suggest adding the beverage package to the experience. If you haven’t been to the after bar that’s also a good addition to the experience. Really enjoyed the complexity of the flavors, creativity of the dishes and plating, if you’ve not experienced a Michelin star restaurant yet, definitely give ever a try. 10 courses and they do fill you up.

It is hard not to give them their 5 stars. Excellence is what they aim for and it is what they deliver.
Atmosphere was amazing, 10 course meal were out of this world, staff are in mad sync, plus the BEAR series was shot there. We were taken to the actual kitchen where @thebearfx was shot. That was fabulous. It is not cheap. But you definitely get what you pay for. Visit it you can.
