As a parent of a child with life-threatening food allergies, traveling can be incredibly stressful. Finding safe dining options is always challenging, but our experience at JW Marriott Chicago completely changed that.

On our first visit, Ashlee, the Senior Banquet Manager, accommodated us on the spot without hesitation. She followed up afterward, asking me to inform her about future stays so the team could prepare safely for my son.

When we returned a month later, I was honestly stunned. The entire team knew about our arrival and ready to prepare a freshly made, allergy-friendly breakfast for my little one. He enjoyed dairy-free French toast for the first time and hasn’t stopped talking about it!

Thanks to Ashlee, Katie, Diane, and TEAM for ensuring our seamless and memorable visit. The JW Marriott Chicago has earned a forever spot on our travel list, not just for its elegance and comfort but also for the incredible people who make our families feel safe.

We will definitely be back sooner than later!

It’s a nice hotel in downtown Chicago. The exercise room is larger than normal. The pool and hot tub are in the basement and kinda small. I wouldn’t stay here if you are really wanting to use the pool. The rooms are fine and the staff is nice.

Another Marriott - nice decor, good service and staff. Nothing stood out much but it was a good property. The conference rooms were good for large meetings and pretty accommodating. Loved how close this was to the iconic cloud.

When you just can't get it right. Here's the deal, permanently on my Marriott record it says feather free. When I checked in I confirmed feather free. Got to the hotel room about 9:30 p.m. and not feather free. They said oh we'll just change out your pillows, that doesn't work everything needs to be changed out. Moved us to another room guess what not feather-free either. Their solution was to change out the sheet with nothing the comforter with something that did not fit the bed way too small and then throw a blanket from Target on top of the entire situation. Not necessarily what you would expect out of a JW Marriott. The managers response will give you $175 worth of hotel credit. Simply sloppy and not expected from a property that should be a five-star property. You've got to do better there's other options in the city such as the Renaissance and Hotel Chicago that don't mess up like this and that treat you better. Very disappointing all in all.

Our favorite part about our trip to Chicago was easily this hotel! The service, the food, the rooms, everything was a 10/10. The beds are also some of the comfiest beds of any place we’ve ever stayed. The room service also came quickly and was absolutely delicious. The two bartenders downstairs were so incredibly kind and attentive. We love, love, love it here and cannot wait to return!!
