Awesome Italian sandwich restaurant! The place was very clean and had friendly staff. The ordering was easy and we got our food pretty quick, although we went during late lunch hours so it wasn't too busy. Most importantly, the food was delicious! I can't judge authenticity, but everything else was superb. The bread was perfectly toasted and the flavors were  amazing. Will go back many times. Highly recommend!

Such a good spot for happy hour spritz and food! We got the tagliere di parma and Roma panini along with spritz. The meats were so good and the schiacciata was so fresh! There are also good vegetarian panini too. Will definitely go back. The people working were so nice too.

I live nearby and was excited to see Lizzano was coming to the neighborhood! I visited during the grand opening and it was very busy (great to see!). I ordered the Lizzano sandwich which was prosciutto, mozzarella, basil and tomato on foccacia bread and it was delicious - fresh, flavorful and just the right amount. Very reminiscent of the sandwiches I love to get when I visit Italy.
I waited quite a while for my sandwich but was expecting it and the staff were so friendly and attentive. They checked in a couple times with me to let me know the food was on its way and gave out samples of panna cotta.
It is also cool that the owner went to college in Chicago and I enjoy supporting local establishments. I highly recommend and will be back!

We love Lizzano! Have had 5 different paninis already and they’ve all been delicious (plus you get a lot of food for your money). The spritzes are also super tasty and the service is amazing. So glad to have this spot in our neighborhood!
