The food is unbelievable. The whole menu is great, from the sloppy Joe, up to their Dry Aged New York Strip; the kitchen clearly takes pride in their work and truly executes at all levels of quality. The bartenders are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly, the wait staff is prompt, respectful and fun. This is the Chicago staple you were searching for. It really is. Couldn’t be more impressed.

Also, get the duck neck ravioli, and you can thank me later.

Weirdly Google Maps is typing this is lodging (with ratings for rooms, service, and location) despite it clearly being marked as a restaurant on its business listing.

I loved this place.

They were clear about the wait on the phone, and friendly.

The staff greeted us warmly and seated us immediately.

Our bartender and servers were super friendly and had good recommendations.

Our food came out promptly, as did drinks and the bill.

The cocktails and menu were inventive and tasty. There were good vegetarian options, and the vegetables were nice and al dente.

I'd describe the food as mostly American with varied global fusion.

The lighting was very good--small oil lanterns making a golden glow.
This was on the heels of me visiting two businesses with migraine-inducing fluorescent hospital lights.

Amazing restaurant & bar. It’s been around for awhile, but is as good as ever, maybe even better. The organ meats are the way to go. I always get the marrow, which is sublime. The pate was also fantastic. Very highly recommended.

Dined in for brunch and I haven't been this disappointed with a brunch in a long while.
First our server was great, she was very nice and gave great service.
Host needs some training still, can't fault her for that but it's clear this is a first job or she's very new.
I can't figure out what this place is trying to be. The dining area bar room is trying really hard to be a run down hole in the wall whiskey pub stop. But the menu and clientele are really trying way to hard. And the menu is definitely not successful in their attempts to be something it's not.
Over all the menu is underwhelming and does not match the atmosphere not even a little.
I rarely write "bad" reviews, but I am truly so disappointed with this experience.
Ordered a pecan sticky bun and I was immediately confused. It was the thickness of a piece of toast and so damn dry. You think sticky bun, it's ooey and gooey and drippy with sticky caramel. No. This was a half assed cinnamon bun with a sprinkle of pecans in it. Absolute 0/10.
Ordered chicken and Waffles as my main and the chicken was the only good thing about this. The waffle came out room temp, which makes me think they make these ahead of time and keep them in a warmer. And again the waffle was so dense and dry, even smothered in whatever sauce it was, and so unimpressive. I didn't eat more than 2 bites of the waffle itself before I pushed it across the table.
The only saving grace here was the service our server gave us and the potato latke. Other than that this place has been removed from any future dining options and would definitely not recommend.
So many good reviews here and the place did not live up to any of them. Over all 2/10 experience.

Holy moly! My dad took my brother and i to this place for lunch. I ordered the smash burger. it came in about 6-7 minutes nice and hot. it was literally the best burger i’ve ever had!!!!!! If you’re in the mood for a burger, come here!
