we walked in here after strolling around the area, not expecting much. upon entry, we were greeted with very warm hospitality. the owners and staff were friendly and all smiles. i was also surprised to see that the restaurant has been recognized in the michelin guide

we ordered a fried rice noodle dish and bun bo hue on the staff’s recommendation. this was my first time trying bun bo hue, and it sure made an impression! the soup was very flavorful, and the beef and pork were well cooked. i enjoyed the noodle texture a lot also.

as for the rice noodles, it was unlike anything we had before. the long and thick noodle strips were fried till the edges were crispy, then smothered with a thick savory gravy. the noodles were very yummy!

we also ordered a freshly squeezed lime juice which was good, but a little too sweet.

we were very impressed by both food and service and will be back!

Love this place ✨ the portions are huge, the veggies are fresh and plentiful, the staff is attentive and hospitable, and the food is consistently good.

Can't go wrong with the grilled pork chop with fried egg (com suong nuong trung op la), their large pho, shrimp and pork crepe (banh xeo), or banh mi sandwiches.

I recently tried their shaken beef (bo luc lac) which was very good.

1 appetizer and 2 entrees might run you around $55, before tip.

This is a wonderful restaurant with exquisite food and wonderful service! I have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. Crispy squid is exquisite as is the pho, frog legs, and many other kinds of soups!

The Bun Bo Hue was good. What stood out were the generous amounts of garnishes and the tender pig blood. The meat had a strong gamey taste. I also tried the Mi Quang, but it didn’t stand out to me. The prices are reasonable. The area doesn't seem to be the best, and there weren't any other diners on a Wednesday around 5 PM. It made the Michelin Guide, probably due to its extensive menu and capturing the essence of homemade Vietnamese cooking. However, it felt like just another Vietnamese restaurant to me.

Really good pho! We got the 35 and 55 and both dishes were delicious. The 55 came with a ton of duck meat! Our server was really nice and our food came really quickly. Will definitely be back soon!
