Neighborhood pizza joint & have always been meaning to stop by so tonight I made that happened.
I was so utterly surprised how fantastic the potato pesto slice was! I genuinely can’t wait to visit again & have that slice. The sausage & miso mushroom were not bad at all! I just think there’s something about the potato pesto slice that everyone needs to try. Also I think the bar next door is somehow connected? Looked like a good time with a pool table, will definitely stop by with friends on my next visit.

Note: I got to try this place from TooGoodToGo, so I had to re-heat the pizza afterwards.

I got two slices here, the cheese (ricotta maybe) and the buffalo chicken pizza.

I liked the chewiness and doughiness of the crust, it’s a thicker pizza but pretty light. The bottom was fried in olive oil, which adds a nice touch to it.

The buffalo chicken pizza was definitely better than the cheese, I would’ve loved to try the pepperoni, which I know people speak highly of.

The brownie was also delicious.

I think if I had just a simple sausage or pepperoni pizza, or if I got to try the corner pizza instead of the middle, I would’ve liked it a bit more. But it’s worth checking out.

I ordered via toast for the sundsay football special.  I took out 2 pizza's one being a pepperoni and the other the mushroom miso.  As others state this is a think doughy pizza with really no sauce on it.  The peperonni seemed to be a little scarce compared to the google pics.  overall it was decent/ average (Jet's is better). Lacked flavor compared to similar spots in chicago.

As for the second pizza i thought it was worth mentioning I love mushrooms but they put an overwhelming amount on the mushroom pizza.  I'd say about 2" thick piled on top.  Since there is no sauce or very little it is over kill, not even sure they put any cheese on this one.   You can't even eat the pizza slice without a pile falling off the slice.  By the time you finish a single slice the pile of left over mushrooms is just as big as the initial slice. I also think they are marinated in miso broth so thats all you taste.  I wanted to try this place based on the reviews but I will not be going back.   Professor Pizza blows this place away on all levels.  Their grandma style offers a way better pizza than what is offered here with way better flavors.  Over all I was disappointed and underwhelmed.

I’ve been following PFP on Instagram for a while and have been wanting to go on Monday for their $3/slice so I can try more than one flavor.

I went this past  Monday because it was a holiday so less traffic. As I pulled up to the corner, I found parking right in front. I walked in and passed the tables to the counter. The menu is pretty simple, but the pizzas are not.

I got 2 slices of the Burrata, Pepperoni, and Sausage (which also has Giardiniera). They were so delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try more off their menu.

There was plenty of seating and a patio that you walk through the kitchen to get to.

Fyra av oss gick här till frukost och satt strax. Vänlig service. Fyra poäng i stället för fem eftersom de pocherade äggen på äggbenedicten var lite överdrivna (men smakade bra) och kaffet var lite på den bittera sidan. Allt annat var mycket bra.

Mycket söt liten restaurang. BYOB. Mat var bra, inget att klaga på. Smakade färska och goda ingredienser. Frukost och lunch serveras fram till 5. Vi var där före 5 så vi hade frukost och lunch. Våren veggie hash var läckra, också vid vårt bord var kalkon klubben. Också bra. Tjänsten bra men inte bra.

Maten var genomsnittlig, tjänsten långsam. Toaletten är i köket och den är liten och smutsig. Jag kände mig som om jag åkte tillbaka i en tidsmaskin till en 1950-bensinstation.

Vi hade reservationer och satt omedelbart. Det var en upptagen kväll, och vårt bord var ganska litet och ganska nära andra diners. . . väldigt litet armbågsrum. Poutine aptitretare, lax poke entree och meatloaf vi beställde var överallt - saltade och särskilt lax poke verkar som kocken kanske har hört talas men aldrig haft någon riktig poke i Hawaii eller Asien. Jordgubbe milkshakes vi hade till efterrätt var mycket bra - bara rätt konsistens också. Tjänsten var likgiltig i bästa. Det tog cirka 15 minuter innan servitrisen tog vår order, och de olika objekten var långsamma att komma fram. Vår servitris var verkligen trevligt men var inte alltför informerade på menyn. Jag kommer förmodligen inte att gå tillbaka, med tanke på de många andra alternativen i grannskapet.

Vi bor i närheten och älskar detta BYOB plats för brunch och middag. Alltid utmärkt utbud av färska val. Hälsosamma alternativ också. Bra utbud på menyn. . . Allt från en mumsig vegetarisk vira upp och pommes frites till en utsökt bit fisk eller biff för middag. Servicen är vänlig. Det är en mycket lokala plats. Mycket rimligt pris. Om det är mycket folk, kan du bege dig till den bifogade bar intill för cocktails eller öl medan du väntar på ett bord. Väldigt avslappnad atmosfär. Maten är alltid utmärkt!

Stannade i för ett snabbt söndag kväll middag - åt vissa element på menyn, några av de dagliga specialerbjudanden. Bra service, unika kombinationer av smaker - skulle komma tillbaka när som helst!

Stannade till på en sen Fredagseftermiddag, strax före 15:00. Vid ankomsten möttes vi och berättade för att sitta ner någonstans på ett litet bord. Vi gjorde så sådana, men med tanke på att det var alltför ostadigt att äta på, vi scooted över till de säten bredvid oss. Värdinna gjorde inte gillar att på alla. Hon fortsatte med att fråga om andra blev ansluter sig till oss om varför vi flyttade till en fyra top. Gav oss ett öga fralla och nedlåtande/griniga " okej, ja det är okej " efter att ha förklarat varför. Restaurangen hade inga andra stamgäster. Jag menar inget. LOL jag kunde förstå om det var upptagna, men ingen ett annat kom i våra hela upplevelsen att äta middag med undantag för en till - gå för. Arbetar i gästfrihet och service industri jag kan förstå svårt folk, men jag vet när det är av vikt för vård och när det inte. Jag skulle aldrig unna någon som att över något av så mycket liten vikt. Vår servitris var var bara medelmåttig och gjorde ett absolut minimum. Alltför många underbara restauranger i Chicago för medelmåttig service & oförskämd service. Mat var utmärkt och de har bra pris platser, alltför. Jag älskade den övergripande estetik till detta Café som väl. Hoppas ditt besök är bättre än mitt.

Läser många recensioner innan vi bestämde oss för att gå för hennes Sunday Brunch och jag måste säga att det var inte bra. Varje av oss fick helt olika beställningar och den enda bra saken vi åka var min vänner strawberry milkshake. Även den ägg var hemskt! Jag trodde att det var just mig men när de tre andra personer kom överens om vi klura något var fel. Förhoppningsvis kommer det bara var en leveransdag för kocken.

Mycket bra mat. Helt njöt av vår sallad & musslor. Min son tog med oss här eftersom det här är en av hans favorit restauranger här i Chicago. Han ville klagade över att han ville inte får så mycket pommes fritesen han använda till att få.

Service är lite ojämn ibland; vissa av de servrar har attityd, men vissa är mycket vänliga och trevlig. Med den kvalitet av de rätter och på rätt pris, jag kan mage de enstaka brist av värme.

Vi bor i närheten och det är en av vår favorit, avslappnad platser för middag. Det är också BYOB vilket gör det mycket prisvärt. Detta är ett litet ställe och det finns vanligtvis vänta på ett bord. Men du kan gå till baren intill och beställa drinkar medan du väntar. Det är en mycket eklektiska publiken ... lokalbefolkningen, artist, gamla, unga, osv. Kvaliteten på maten för priset är enastående. Allt är alltid bra ... från sallader, förrätter, fisk, kött, vegetariska förrätter, smörgåsar och desserter. Det är den typ av plats som du kan komma och beställa en hamburgare och pommes frites, eller så kan du åka ut med en fantastisk förrätt och en bra bit fisk/biff för middag. Servicen är vänlig och avslappnad.

Gick till den här restaurangen på torsdag kväll runt 8:00. Det är små men trevliga. Två av oss och vi behövde inte vänta. de serverar inte alkohol av något slag men du kan ta med din egen öl och vin. Jag hade priset heiloom tomatoe och hummus och det var så bra. En av de bästa kex jag har varje hade. Ser stort men det var ganska lätt med en liten sida sallad. Min kompis hade grillad ost med tomat bisque som soppa och det såg bra ut. Han hade varit med andra innan och sa att havskatt fat var bra.

Detta är ett unikt, hippt ställe med mycket vänlig personal. Jag beställde något som inte var vad jag förväntade mig, och bad att beställa något annat i stället. De var mycket coolt. Och sedan testade jag Mashbrown. HERREGUD det var det mest utsökta potatis gröten jag någonsin ätit. Jag kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka!
