Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, happy my friend and I decided to split some dishes. The tuna was fresh and the fried capers on top were amazing. Have not had a tonnato sauce paired with the cauliflower, but we loved this dish!! Really elevated the flavor and paired well with the pickled raisins and herbs. Obviously the pastas were the stunner; I thought the truffle was nice because it’s more oil based and not overwhelmingly cheesy. The ladies sitting next to us recommended the gnocchi and it did not disappoint; would also recommend this, the beef cheek was fabulous. Smaller portions, but Lauren who served us was fabulous and helped pick out the dishes so we could have a well rounded meal.

I’ve been to this place twice, and this review is based on two experiences. One was fantastic and the other one was average. So, I encourage you to try it and decide for yourself.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top-notch! I can tell you that for sure during both of my experiences.

However, the food varies. The menu looks amazing, and the varieties and offerings are well balanced with Great ingredients.

However, based on the chefs feedback, the food was pretty salty and we couldn’t enjoy it at all. my favourite dishes are the Zucchini Fritters, the braised lamb Saddle (however it was undercooked. So ask for medium well), the Branzino is delicious but also pretty salty!! Beef Cheek Gnocchi was delicious!!

The manager came and made it up for us, by removing all the salty items from the Bill. However, I will be hesitant next time to visit given this experience.

Top restaurants like this one must have very high standards and consistent experience throughout, as margins are so slim between all those competing restaurants in West Loop.

I had a wonderful dining experience! The highlight of the evening was definitely the risotto—it was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a delight! However, the ribs were a bit too sweet for my taste. While they were tender and flavorful. I also enjoyed the tuna crudo, the flavors were fresh and beautifully balanced, making it a standout starter.

I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

A truly lovely dining experience. I lucked into getting a table after sending an email and there was a little confusion with my table but ended up getting a spot at the kitchen. My server was WONDERFUL very attentive but not too pushy. I started with the octopus as my dining tradition and it was very good. Not chewy at all and had a nice char to it. I got the risotto with squid and the flavor of the dish was incredible. It was squid ink risotto and the earthiness of the squid ink just highlighted the squid so well. The squid was cooked perfectly and when covered in the risotto sauce just was an exquisite bite. Of course I had to get dessert and it was a toffee cake and it was like a warm Carmel hug in a vanilla gelato snow storm. The person preparing the dish gave me a scoop of blueberry lemon ginger sorbet and it was just the best pallet cleanser to end my amazing dinner!! Plan ahead and make this a stop.

The Tagliatelle was the best: rich but not heavy, perfect cook for the pasta, and generous amount of white truffle. One thing I will say about the shrimp— perfect cook, wonderful char, and the crispy garlic was delicious. I would recommend going at least once.

Vilken vacker plats. Allt var på punkt. Bra Service och topp - mat av hög kvalitet. Alla vi interagerade med behandlade oss väl och tog hand om oss. En middagsbokning kl. 17.00 är den bästa tiden att komma in innan stället börjar fyllas. Detta var en av de bästa måltiderna på hela vår resa. En vegetarian kan få en bra måltid här tillsammans med sina allätare vänner. De är villiga att justera saker som inte är enkla grönsaksrätter. Medan Rose Mary är en vacker och hip miljö, med en läcker klingande meny där du vill prova varje objekt, tyvärr blev vi besvikna på maten. Zucchinifritöserna var extremt salta, till den grad att jag inte kände smaken av zucchinin eller doppsåsen. Ahi crudon var god, men de överdrev den med aolisåsen, och jag hade älskat en lätt wontonchips till. Sötpotatisen var så uppklädd att jag inte kände smaken av någon sötpotatis. Nötkindsgnocchin var riktigt god men återigen fyllig och mycket tyngre än den behövde vara. Cacio de peppe smakade som en vit mac'n'cheese och drunknade i tjock, ostig sås. Fläskrevbenen var riktigt goda och behövde inte jättetoppingen som vi skopade av. 

Servicen var utmärkt, och de erbjöd en gratis dessert plus tog pommes frites från räkningen för att be om ursäkt för maten. Det är ett livligt, trendigt ställe, men jag tyckte inte att det var för högt på något sätt.

Denna plats rekommenderades av en co - arbetstagare från Chicago. Vilken upplevelse. Mat, service och atmosfär var fantastisk. Det var trångt men det var inte för högt där jag inte kunde ha en konversation. vi plockade 4 rätter, och de serverades i slumpmässig ordning. Tonfisk Credo till att börja med, sedan Zucchini Fritters (intressant) , Burek (enastående) och sedan Cacio e Pepe. CeP var den bästa jag har haft i USA. Vilket sätt att avsluta middagen. Trångt en kall sen lördag eftermiddag. Servicen är utmärkt. Beställde en serie små tallrikar och nöjd med alla utom en. Vi kommer att gå tillbaka nästa gång i staden. Perfekt stopp efter hela dagen på Konstinstitutet.

Denna restaurang var allt jag hoppats på. Maten och servicen var utsökt och kunden var där. De kroatiska cusines var bortom exceptionella. 

Middagen var mycket mysig och spektakulär. Maten var på punkt och i tid.

Otrolig upplevelse från början till slut. Maten är delade tallrikar och generösa portioner som var bra och roligt att dela, och helt utsökt. Stora smaker, unika säsongsalternativ och vi har haft varje tugga. Missa inte tonfisk crudo och fläsk revbensspjäll, de var särskilt fantastiska. Servicen är förstklassig - stort tack vare Madison och Rocky!

Vi reserverade ett bord för 2 för middag och satt inomhus på en varm muggy dag. Kunde inte tänka mig att sitta utomhus, även på sena kvällen. Vi delade två tallrikar - snaps ärtor och stracciatella. Båda var läckra även om vi kunde ha använt lite bröd till osten. Till huvudrätt hade vi varsin pastarätt, men vi var ganska mätta så vi tog med maten hem. Jag hade den alkoholfria Placebo drycken som var fruktig och smakrik. Vi skippade desserten eftersom vi båda var mätta. Det är värt att gå en gång till denna plats för erfarenhet och god färsk ren mat.

Åkte dit för middag; bullret gör det omöjligt att njuta av maten och sällskapet du är med. 
Maten skulle vara bra om mindre saltad (ett klagomål jag hade i nästan varje restaurang under min resa i USA) ; jag tyckte det var dyrt för vad det var

När du anländer till Rose Mary är du glad över den moderna, rymliga matplatsen med en stor bar och öppen utsikt över köket. Det är en livlig plats, och kvällen vi besökte, det var packat. De hängande blommiga korgarna ger en atmosfär av hemtrevnad. Snart inser du att platsen är mycket bullrig och det är svårt att föra en konversation utan att skrika. Förutom den högljudda kundkretsen är bakgrundsmusiken en hög bom - boom, vilket gör ljudnivån onödigt sämre. Servicen var långsam, och för en komplett restaurang, det är underbemannad. Till slut fick vi in våra cocktail- och förrättsbeställningar och väntade. Restaurangen är uppkallad efter ägarens mormor, och menyn hedrar deras nordöstra italienska och kroatiska anor. Menyn misslyckas med att beskriva de rätter du får, så till viss del var beställningen ett skott i mörkret. Det var också svårt att avgöra vilken maträtt som var en förrätt och vilken som var en huvudrätt, och när vi beställde blev det tydligt att storlekarna varierade en hel del, så lita inte på i vilken ordning de visas på menyn. Zucchini-fritöserna lät underbara, men vad vi fick var en halv - bränd, överstekt skiva av någon grönsak, även om den var oigenkännlig. Det var väldigt salt och flottigt. Babybläckfisken såg bra ut och till en början var tuggan ganska behaglig; sedan kom den bittra eftersmaken ut, vilket gjorde det till en mindre lyckad rätt. Vi kunde inte äta det. Lammsadeln var vällagad, mör och attraktiv, men kom kvävd i en oigenkännlig sås som gömde lammet och gjorde rätten mycket tung. Ankan var godare och middagens höjdpunkt var vaniljglassen. Jag beställde också en Amaro, som kom utspädd med ett ton krossad is. Jag antar att det serveras så för folk som inte gillar Amaros. Restaurangen ligger runt Fulton Market, och när vi lämnade, det fanns ingen taxi att se och kvinnan i receptionen avböjde att ringa en. Det slutade med att vi gick omkring 15 kvarter i den heta, fuktiga Chicagonatten, genom mörka gator i en stad som sorgligt nog är känd för gatuvåld. Detta var en intressant upplevelse, men en vi inte kommer att upprepa: platsen är för bullriga, servicen är för långsam och maten är medelmåttig, i bästa fall.

Väldigt högljutt med mycket folk och mycket liv och mycket rörelse.  God mat men små portioner (rekommenderas att beställa 3 rätter per person) och rel dyrt. Vi var lite för jetlaggade för den höga volymen.
