This should be on the list of places to visit in Chicago. The ambiance is on point, that's what I most liked about this place.

I'm a coffee snub and the coffee must be great for me to give it 5 stars. It didn't make it for me because I found the coffee a bit weak, that was the reason. But in all fairness, it tastes good, I would just prefer it was a bit stronger and more acidic. It's just my preference when it comes to coffees.

Service is great and it has plenty of tables. It would be ideal if they use real coffee mugs instead of to go. In my opinion that would elevate their presentation even more (and it's cool already). This was the perfect spot to warm up after exploring the Chicago streets during a cold day.

Oh yeah,  this is the spot. Coffee is dope. Atmosphere is dope. Music throughout, bench picnic tables, and the cashier is so cool. Absolutely what i needed on a cold day. Definitely coming back.

I got the High Five Mocha. Never thought orange zest would go with coffee,  but damn they made it work. My two favorite morning flavors in one drink. 10/10.

Visiting Sawada, I felt transported back to when I lived in Austin, TX. This is a really cool and spacious coffee shop with a little bit of everything! My visit began as a place to take a work call, which quickly turned into several hours of enjoying the ambiance and enjoying the BBQ for lunch! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Sawada is one of my favorite coffee spots in the city! It’s inside Green Street Meats. Great atmosphere and vibe  to talk and work remotely. I love the military latte (matcha and espresso). Get it made hot! Lots of other great pastries as well. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends and during lunch. 10/10 will come back again and again.
