I love this hotel! It's a beautiful building with antique-style decor, and the location is the best! There are tons of dining options around here. I was impressed with the friendly staff and room amenities. While the room is small, it has many amenities: free new slippers, bottled water, beer, soda, laundry bags… everything you want! The room was clean and well-maintained.
I will definitely come back!

Quite a nice place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable with charming interior design. Bathroom fixtures are a little worn and leaky. Lobby staff were friendly and attentive. The cafe on the first floor had good brunch fare and great service. The casual bar on the second floor was not crowded with good drinks and atmosphere. Sound from the El was audible in the room, but not obtrusive. Safe location on the border of Bucktown and Wicker Park. Several shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful building with amazing views, however, I do not recommend staying here. The pillows smelled dirty and when I requested new pillows the front desk never got back to me. After 45 min I called and they said there was nothing they could do. It was a convenient location because I was seeing a show across the street, but I’ll never stay here again. Very expensive room and the linens seemed over bleached. I assume The pillowcase was clean, but the pillow itself was probably very old to smell like bed head

Check in was easy. Staff was WONDERFUL! Free gym passes down the street. Free perfume sample from down the street and a buy one get one drink token to local spots. Really enjoyed the community environment. No bathroom fan. Small room. Clean. Long length mirror hard to use. Robe and slippers in room plus mini bar inclusion. Would stay again.

Ok so I can’t comment on the rooms or anything but I can comment on the rooftop bar. Let me say the rooftop bar has the best view of downtown Chicago in my opinion. We came around 8pm and got right in. The atmosphere is very romantic inside with the dim lights etc. the outdoor seating has nice tables as well. Service was great and the drinks were good!
