Staff was very friendly. Pool was very nice. Room was above expectations. Not in love with location. Would prefer Michigan Ave. But that is personal preference. Tre Dita Bar
Was beautiful and great service. 1 minor issue. Check out 12pm. Are cards were deactivated at 1140ish. Thus we werent able to enter room to grab our luggage after swimming. Took several phone calls and finally somebody came up after 20 min to help us.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The family and I took a wonderful staycation down in the St. Regis. From the moment we got out of the car I was amazed. Every single member of the staff was incredibly nice, warm, welcoming, and accommodating to not only my wife and myself, but also our three young kids.

Prior to our arrival Ben the Chief Concierge had helped set up a small tent, books, kids robes, and delicious cookies for the kids in our amazing room. The kids excitement was contagious! He also checked in on us multiple times through out the trip and offered to help with anything else we might need.

At 5pm every night they do Sabrage (Champaign Sabering), as they do in all St. Regis hotels. It is always a highlight and the kids love it. The staff here even had coupe glasses of lemonade for the kids.

We were able to get early an reservation to Tre Dita with the kids for a fun 'fancy' meal (even though there was no availability, thank you team!!!). The restaurant is amazing and I'd would 10/10 recommend dining here. The staff was very hospitable, even with three tired young kids, and worked hard to made it a memorable experience.

Some of our highlights:
-Amazing pool (best one I've been to in the city).
-Dinner.
-Sabrage.
-Park across the street.

It was beyond our expectations and we will be back.

Stayed here for a quick weekend trip. The location and rooms are top notch. It’s my new favorite place to stay in Chicago. We were greeted the first night by Phinu and he did a wonderful job taking care of us each time we needed our car. He was very professional and is a great asset to your team. We will be back for another stay in the future.

I had high expectations for the St. Regis Chicago, especially given its reputation and price point. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short—especially in comparison to the Waldorf Chicago, which delivers a far superior level of service and luxury.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this property lacks the refinement and attention to detail expected of a St. Regis. The service felt more like a JW Marriott than a true St. Regis—competent but impersonal, without the signature elegance and exclusivity that defines the brand.

One of the most disappointing aspects was the housekeeping. The tub was left uncleaned, which is unacceptable at any hotel, let alone one that carries the St. Regis name. It’s the small details that separate luxury hotels from the rest, and this hotel consistently missed the mark.

Food and drinks were overpriced for no good reason—not just expensive, but without the exceptional quality or presentation to justify the cost.

Overall, the St. Regis Chicago simply does not live up to its name. If you’re expecting the refined service, immaculate accommodations, and exceptional dining that define a true St. Regis experience, you will be disappointed.
