Came here for a quick trip and this is truly a hidden GEM in the city! Fair pricing, EXCEPTIONAL service from the staff, and great food. Can't beat it!

Danny and Tausey saved me the morning of a big meeting and helped me ensure things got done. Super sweet and helpful!

Great location. Close to everything but not in the heart so it is quiet. Staff is very friendly and made the stay even better. Rooms were nice and clean with a good view. outdoor section on rooftop was closed due to rain but still a good view from inside. Would recommend staying here and would stay here again

Really enjoyed my stay. Daryl and the staff are amazing folks. The rooms are super clean and have nice touches throughout. Loved the tea kettle in the room. The rain shower was rook cool. Look forward to staying here again. The train line nearby can be annoying when trying to go to sleep.

I stayed at this hotel once. The screeching from the train was so loud and there was a cutesy little bag of earplugs with a note on it...cheeky, but not helpful. Great rooftop bar, great location, but I would not stay here again..just stop by for entertainment. The team that decided to turn this into a Virgin Hotel shrugged off the noise from the above ground train.

Centrally located to plenty of shops, food, one block away from the Chicago theater. About three blocks away from millennium Park. Great find in the city of Chicago. Rooms are very comfortable. You could do valet or self Park. I will tell you it is located near one of the loops corners on the track. So if If you end up with a street view room, you're going to get some noise from the trains rounding the corner. Seems to stop sometime around 1:00 in the morning. This is a pet friendly hotel and we did have a barking dog next to us for part of the night. That quieted down once the owners got back.
Be advised the showers are very roomy and offer a great space to shower in, but the water was hot, cold, hot cold. The entire time could not regulate the flow. So you're either going to be burned to death or frozen out. We were in room 2109. All said and done. Would highly recommend it

Mariah Carey Black Irish Holiday Bar var en festlig upplevelse som var en fantastisk tillägg till vår resa till Chicago. Musiken, inredningen, personalen och cocktailarna var så roliga. Rekommenderar starkt!

Jag läste om restaurangen på Tripadvisor. När vi kom dit var den stängd (sen över ett år enl. Hotellreceptionen). Tråkigt att de inte skriver det på sin hemsida.

Det var lite när vi gick in, strax före kl. 19 på en fredag. Som i: högt (folk), trångt och högt (musik, vilket var bra, men då har du folk som pratar om det, och det är kumulativt ... högt). Som sagt, det satte sig till omkring 7:30, och under tiden, väl, cocktails på deras specialmeny var både spännande att läsa om och välsmakande. (Observera: Sakes är mycket svalare i förpackningar än de är bra, om du känner till dina saker. Fortfarande kul att beställa.) Connor, vår servitör, var fantastisk. Varje maträtt som vi frågade om hans åsikt, berättade han för oss var utmärkt. . . och det var. Som, slicka din tallrik läcker. Det betyder antingen att vi valde bra, eller att du inte kan gå fel med den här menyn, som är ganska eklektisk, medan den strömlinjeformas i alternativ att välja mellan. Kan jag bara säga: vegansk ostkaka? Jag gillar inte ens ostkaka. Men den här vegan? Ja tack. Och sidobeskrivning: det var en lokal bryggningsmakning på gång, och en av deras killar var också DJ’ing. DJ: n var fantastisk, speciellt efter att platsen smälta ut. Jag tittade hela tiden på de låtar han snurrade.

Min server Conner var och är kanske den mest kunniga fällaren jag har stött på på mycket lång tid. Vi skrattade, vi grät, han delade några STELLAR rekommendationer för par. 10/10 skulle rekommendera som min server varje gång.

Vi åt frukost på Commons Club och var inte imponerad av tjänsten. Först listar de kaffe på sin meny till $ 4 för dropp och $ 4 för espressodrycker. Eftersom latte kostade samma som dropp, valde jag en latte. Servern berättade sedan för mig att hon var tvungen att gå och få drinken från nedervåningen kafé och gjorde det verkar som om det var ett krångel för henne. Så jag gick bara med vanligt kaffe. På $ 4 trodde jag att kaffet skulle åtminstone vara anständigt. Det var hemskt och förmodligen värre än ett McDonald's-kaffe. Min dotter beslutade att beställa varm choklad, som servern berättade för oss igen att hon var tvungen att gå ner för att få drinken. Vi försökte ändra oss, men hon sa att hon skulle få det. Du skulle tro att så länge hon var tvungen att hämta den varma chokladen, skulle hon ha erbjudit oss att få våra lattes, men nej. Sedan tog hon våra beställningar och försvann medan vi väntade för evigt på en kopp juice och smuttade på oss på fruktansvärt kaffe fullt av grunder.

Slutligen, juicen dykte upp, liksom den varma choklad, som inte längre var varm eller ens bra för den delen.

Sedan väntade vi en god stund på att få vår mat, vilket var riktigt frustrerande eftersom vi kunde se det bara sitta där bredvid oss under värmelamporna. Franska toast var bra, men omeletten var intetsägande smak och inte säker på var getost gick till.

Vi satt där och spelade kort i baren medan vi åt, drack och väntade på att bli hungriga igen. Allt vi försökte var fantastiskt och tjänsten var helt underbar!

Kycklingvingens aptitretare var fantastisk och jag bestämde mig för att vill ha mycket mer svart vitlök-aioli i mitt liv. Den hantverkande ostbrädan med den surdeigen och honungskakan var så bra att jag ville lägga mig på den. Min man gillar fortfarande om lammribborna och cheeseburger med rosti var så bra att jag är rädd att jag inte kan göra rätt för det. Beställ bara det! !

Jag kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka!

Det här var ett fantastiskt fynd. Happy hour-vingarna var så bra. Ord kan inte beskriva hummeravioli. Vår server Giovanni var utmärkt.

Jag stannade in förra helgen med en flickvän medan vi besökte centrum av Chicago. Vi hade haft en tuff morgon, men bartendern, Tyson och Becky, hjälpte till att vända det mycket snabbt! Vi beställde några drinkar (Strawberry Fields ftw!) Och brödkorgen att dela. Allt var fantastiskt! Spellistan var en rolig blandning, och bartendrarna gjorde det verkligen till en fantastisk upplevelse totalt sett. Jag har inget negativt att säga om det här besöket, och jag gick med om denna plats till Chicago kompisarna som vi träffade senare. Jag kommer definitivt att gå igenom nästa gång jag är i stan!

Gör dig själv en tjänst och äta och dricka på hotellets restaurang Commons Club! Kock Moosas vårmeny och Becky (bartendern) är inget annat än fantastiskt.

Stor inredning mellan in i lobbyn, går upp i röda carpeted stor trappa och öppnar sedan upp i ett stort utrymme på andra våningen med massor av intressanta möbler och dekorationer. Det finns en stor bar område och sedan sitta runt sidorna vid borden och vad är i huvudsak soffor med bord. Det var bekvämare än jag trodde att det skulle vara. Det har känslan av en "klubb". Köket är synligt och lånar ut till inredningen.
Tjänsten var snabb och uppmärksam.
Maten var utmärkt. Typ av en tapas stil men inte riktigt annonseras som sådan. Vi hamnade med 5 rätter för 2 av oss. Personalen var bra om att ge ledtrådar till hur stora portionerna var. Menyn är uppdelad efter typ av mat, skaldjur, kött, pasta etc.
Mat var alla kryddade väl, varma och nyligen gjorda.
De har en rimlig vinlista som är prissatt bra, särskilt för en stad.
Jag skulle definitivt äta här igen.

Jag hänvisades till denna restaurang som jag bodde på hotellet. Det finns flera matalternativ i området. Detta är väldigt dyrt och tjänsterna behöver förbättras. Jag satt där jag väntade 5 minuter innan jag väntade. Min servitris var mer oroad över att jag hade en mycket stor faktura i stället för att jag fick vad jag behövde eller ville ha. Jag ville lämna flera gånger. Det var en lång dags resa och hon förlängde allting. Jag ville ha en trevlig fyllningsmåltid, men jag fick en dyr måltid som inte fyllde på. Atmosfären är elegant och cool, men tjänsten måste matcha. Mitt vattenglas fylldes inte på tills jag slutade min mat. De gjorde boende för mig och det var uppskattat, men det blev mött med ett stört utseende när jag begärde information.

Jag hade den bästa tiden närmaste mina kusiner UPSIDE DOWN TEA PARTY på Commons restaurang / bar på Virgin Hotel Chicago. Det kallas en UPSIDE DOWN TEA PARTY eftersom vissa teer innehåller alkohol. Hors d'oeuvres, finger smörgåsar och söta finger godis var läckra!

Husdjur får lov att te med dig, vilket är särskilt trevligt. Vi satt på ett stort torgbord och det fanns 8 av oss, med gott om utrymme. Det fanns en fotograf till hands för att ta bilder av hundar och ägare eller bara hundar och de hade också husdjurstillbehör och till och med sällskapsdjursintyg.

Vi gick för en snabb middag innan en show på The Chicago Theatre.

Tjänsten var snabb och effektiv men vår servitris hade ingen personlighet alls, hon var nästan robot. Jag beställde en $ 15 hamburgare som kom på en tallrik med ingenting annat. Det var inte en dålig burger för en snabbmat burger men för $ 15 förväntar jag mig en stor burger. Förmodligen kommer inte att återvända.

Bartenderna och servrarna är kunniga, varma, respektfulla och fulla av personlighet. Cocktailerna är gjorda med stil.

En sådan bra plats god mat, goda vibbar och sådana bra människor som arbetar där. Definitivt kommer tillbaka till denna plats när jag besöker Chicago igen. ????
