I don't really get the hype... The pizza was alright but not the best as to what many say. It might be just the one we got? Not sure. We ordered to go. I do say, it was better than some other we got from another pizza place that's for sure. The thin crust was a little more better than the deep dish. My husband did like his though.

Tried calling to place an order because they said they had delivery. Spoiler alert: they don't. The person on the phone made it sound like I was asking them to solve world peace just by asking a simple question. Then they left me on hold so long I could've baked a deep dish myself. If you enjoy being ignored, lied to, and treated like an inconvenience -- you'll love this place. For everyone else: save yourself the headache and order from literally anywhere else.

Came here on a weekday and it was mostly empty but there is only like 5 tables for dine in. It's more of a place for take out seems like. Regardless we tried halal deep dish pizza, did half gyros and half chicken and it was pretty good. First time trying halal deep dish pizza and it was pretty good. Definitely recommend this place for halal pizza if you want to try. They only do large pizza for halal options but able to substitute to your liking.

The people working at this location should have a little contact with the general public as possible. As seen in many other reviews, they owner and employees are rude and miserable with every interaction. I've experienced this and witnessed their behavior on several occasions. A month ago, I ordered a pizza for pickup around 7:30pm and when I arrived the doors were locked. It several phone calls and literally banging on their door to get a response. They close at 9pm. This was not the first time. Just now I called to order a small pizza and was told by the girl who answered, "We only have medium and large. What would you like on your medium pizza?". It was the most absurd attempt at an upsell I've encountered. Just use less dough and ingredients lol Trust the bad reviews and try the Rosemont location or Pequod's in Morton Grove/Lou Malnatis.

It's a shame when you visit from out of town, hoping to support Muslim businesses, and then they rip you off. It's even more painful as someone who comes from a small Muslim business. That's exactly what it felt like visiting this location today. While the pizza was okay and nothing I hadn't had back home, I was more disappointed in the lack of transparency in the pricing of the pizza. I was overwhelmingly overcharged for two large pizzas, and charged double for Halal (which they didn't specifically mention until we had to pay). This was such a let down, even more so considering the other reviews from TWO YEARS AGO also had similar things to say. I would've said that I wished the owner learned from these, but seems like he hasn't. I would not recommend coming here, and I'd caution my Muslim friends to be open to other, more cost-effective options.

$70ish for a Halal meat lovers pizza on "special" before tip. Tiny seating area with minimal service from waitstaff...and you pay in advance. Prices are covered up in marker on the posted menu items at each table. Not gonna lie this location doesn't represent the Giordano's I'm used to. And despite it having Halal options, I don't recommend it at all.

First time ever to any Giordano's. Kids wanted to try the classic Chicago famous whatever deep dish pizza.! so we thought, of course to order it from Giordano's as the publicity always for this place. However, we chose this location since we were in the area and a place in order online went to pick it up since it said it might take hour plus to make it ready. and the kids wanted to sit outside since they were some casual outside seating in the strip mall, A I was like alright! My son wanted a cup of water he went inside and asked for a cup of water and she said the manager or whoever in the front that they don't have water I can give you an empty cup. And I was like whatever sure. He came back again and I told him OK I'll go and grab you a drink from inside. I went inside and the manager approached me and asked her for a drink with a cup of ice since it's boiling hot outside. And she said NO ICE. I was like again whatever!! just give me the drink. And she said." Are you going to sit outside and eat your food? And I was like! is there a problem for me sitting outside and eating the food that I ordered from you guys? She was like usually we have to charge a different prices and tips if you decide to sit. I was like those are outside dining for four different stores not even yours only but if you don't want me to sit outside, I can leave no problem that would be the worst experience that we have with you guys! She was like no no you can sit, but just letting you know. I told My Kids let's get out of here I think now you have an idea about the Giordano's a.k.a. Chicago deep dish pizza. Will never come back again manager is rude and unprofessional, and I don't like normally to put a bed views, but I thought of sharing this experience with everyone.

The pizza is honestly the best I've had. It is superb, and not excessively greasy. Prices are on the more expensive side but that's alright considering the spectacular pizza. Wait times for the pizzas (if you order in store) were quoted to us as 45 minutes so not the best place to swing by for a quick snacky snack

The food was meh, the service could have been way better. The guy working really must hate his job, he had a sulking and petulant manner. But he used annoying sales tactics that got our money so I guess he's effective. We came in on a Thursday and wanted two personal pizzas so we could try more flavors. The guy bites at us that only mediums and larges are available Thursday to Sunday. OK, we got a medium chicken sausage deluxe or something. He says pizza takes 40mins and forcefully insists we get an appetizer 'because they only take 5 minutes', we don't mind waiting, we weren't that hungry yet, no no, get an appetizer. Fine, we got the bruschetta. 'What drinks do you want?' Does it come with our order? He ignores the question. Water is fine. 'We don't have water, you have to get a bottled drink.' Literally he has bottled water in the fridge... Whatever. We got bottled drinks. I was very annoyed. But we were determined to get deep dish pizza and the chain had come highly recommended. The bruschetta was good. Bottled drinks were whatever, I'm really annoyed there was no water, especially because the pizza was soooo salty. I was able to eat one slice, thinking oh maybe it's just me... My friend said no, the really salty sausage plus the really salty cheese made for an extremely salty pie. Could have used a lot more spinach and sauce. I gave up on my second slice, because I literally started gagging. Ended up going to the car to get water.
