The food was absolutely delicious, exactly what you'd expect & hope to find at an authentic family owned burger joint in the Chicagoland area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lady seen my dog waiting for me outside so she treated her to a little pup-cup and a bowl of water. I found that very generous and sincere. Especially because the dog and I was just finishing up a 2 mile walk. As for the environment, I did see they have a patio in the back that was very clean . The inside of the place was very clean. Overall, I'm not from this area but I can definitely see myself driving 20 minutes just to come here to eat. I personally love supporting the family owned businesses because it's evident they truly appreciate you coming to them. They don't treat you like an order. They want your food to be good and served with pride. If you're not familiar with this place, I strongly recommend you visit. I'm born and raised in Chicago, this is an authentic Chicago burger joint in my opinion

The lady taking orders is quite abrasive, but I mean with a place like this, what do you expect? Exactly that. Like you're bothering them. The place gets you with the name, at least it got me with it. The chicago style dog as good & fries were good too. Cute place, lots of parking. Not sure I would come back. Not very welcoming.

I was out doing my gig side hustle when I found this spot. They have a huge parking lot and nice shaded area in the back of the restaurant if you want to eat out doors. The day I went it was warm and so was the interior. I was greeted by a nice lady that took my order. I order hot dogs and a root beer. The tomatoes were diced which isn't a deal breaker because you can get some in every bite. The fries were the let down for me, overdone and just meh. The dog was good but it didn't knock my socks off. The next time I will get the dogs and no fries.

OMG was this place terrible! Not only was the food less than appetizing, but the way they owner sets up pricing is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! They charge $5.99 for an Italian Beef OR an Italian Sausage sandwich, but if you order a COMBO, you pay $11.99!!! That's $.01 more than if I ordered 2 separate sandwiches!! HOW MUCH BS IS THAT!! This was my first time there, drawn in by the good price for the beef figuring I'd a little bit more for a combo, BUT MORE THAN DOUBLE THE ADVERTISED PRICE!!!???? WTF DUDE!!!???? Last visit from this guy, and hopefully a lot of folks read this and don't fall into your little trap! ON TOP OF ALL THIS....THE SAUSAGE IS BOILED!!! WHO THE F DOES THAT TO ITALIAN SAUSAGE??? WHAT GARBAGE!!!! AND THE GIARD IS KEPT IN WATER, NOT OIL...ANOTHE FAUX PA!!! Terrible place, and only thing I got from server was, "hey, I only work here", which is get, but at least acknowledge the unhappy customer.

I ordered the Chicago-style hot dog and chili dog. The hot dogs were boiled and both were served on generic non-toasted buns. The Chicago style includes all the essential ingredients. My least favorite dog was the chili dog. The chili does not look very appetizing. I'm positive that it's not homemade because of the incorrect color and texture. Its basic cheese sauce was standard. Their hot dogs are average overall.

Food is good here, quite a variety when the last few times I came here, I got a chicken sandwich, fries, and, of course, a hot dog. I think they put too much diced tomatoes (made it a bit soggy) but it's a good hot dog nonetheless. Fries are slightly soggy but tasty (to me). People here are fairly friendly and work efficient. Always worthy for a tip. Always went over 20%. More than the Park Ridge McDonald's can ever dream about. Only bad thing is their short business hours. Otherwise, not big on eating in, kind of place, just like 5 or 6 at most, I think. But plenty of parking, but it's gravel, so don't walk here with your high heels or Oxford shoes. I'll be back here for more!

I really hate doing this but I have to. I am rooting for them but went there today and there were 2 ladies working withe no customers in line I waited 10 minutes for her to take my order she looked at me at least three times and never came to ask me if I wanted to order. I finally rang their tap bell and she came up with a scowl and asked what I wanted. After I ordered another person came in and waited 10 minutes to get service. Only after I said you might have to ring the bell to get the 2 chatty Cathy's attention. So my 30 minute lunch was wasted basically 20 minutes I had 2 wait 4 a pork chop sandwich which was gamey as hell and rude employees. Again love the hotdogs here but I can't see them making it another month in buisness with the people that are working there.

Hours 11-4. got there 3:50 and lady with red hair advised grill close at 3:45 and to order nothing for grill. ordered no 1 which is the hot dog and the chicken sandwich. they were in hurry as I guess they want to leave at 4. got my hot dog but no fries so I asked and the red hair lady was rude as hell. I got the fries but looks like whatever they had left in basket. got the food home and dog was ok but chicken sandwich was cold so had to reheat that. went back again and ordered 2 No 1. one with everything and other no onion or peppers. got home and both no onion or pepper. I told the red hair lady and repeated it twice. She has a No Care Attitude. once again fries were like scrapping the bottom. I liked their food there but the attitude is beyond poor esp. the girl taking the order. if you go make sure it's before 3:45 as they are shutting everything down and you get what they have or feel like doing. they need someone with a better attitude taking the orders and know what they are doing.

I love this place. I honestly have been a few times and always forget to take a picture before I take this food down! Chicago dogs here are the way to go. All the traditional tops, cooked fresh. Fresh bread. Fresh ingredients. The fries are fresh and amazing. Perfect amount of salt. Shakes are great too! There is always a super friendly lady at the drive thru window as well. Stop here for a dog, you won't be disappointed.
