Beware... This place has a sanitation issue. I ordered a torta sandwich with everything and chorizo. I noticed that he took ground beef out instead. His counterpart said "not ground, she wants chorizo." So, the cook proceeds to take the cooked ground beef and put it back in the fridge without even taking off the cooked part. I feel sorry for whomever gets that piece. This is how salmonella starts. Also, he did not wear gloves while handling raw products nor wash his hands. They might have great food, but I am not trying to get food poisoning. So, i will have to pass until they understand the basics of sanitation.

4 stars for being a solid slice shop. I've been here a few times for slices. It never disappoints. They're consistently consistent. Prices are not too bad. There's plenty of room to find seating when they're busy. They on a corner so you can get a window as well. Just a really solid slice shop.

Called in an order for pickup, was told it would take 25-30 mins. Got here in 40 mins and they were just putting the pizzas in the oven. It was not a busy night. No apologies. Very unconcerned for my time.

Got there at 6:45 when they are open until 7. The kitchen was closed except for warmed up pizza that had been cooked long ago. Not worth going to.

Had the meat lovers. Delivery was great. Pizza was hot and fresh. The pizza itself was disastrous, however. I grew up eating Gigio's and was excited to try it after being away for 10 years. Sadly, it was not good. The cheese was plastic, the meat and sauce acrid, and the dough flavorless. I wish I could recommend Gigio's, but the pizza is bad.

I never thought I'd be rating Gigios pizza so low. My family usually orders for delivery over 25 years now. The person who took my order first, didn't know what a supreme pizza is. How do you work at a pizzeria and not know what toppings are on a supreme pizza?! Second, she called to confirm my address because the driver (God bless his patience) noticed that she had written the street name as "ground ave." He knew "ground" was not a street name. I made her repeat my order and address and she still managed to give him the wrong address number. My pizza was also not cut in squares like she herself even repeated in my order! Hiring manager please do better.

My husband and children love their pizza. I personally am not the biggest fan of pizza in general, but I'll admit their crust is amazing! Their homemade sausage is delicious. The pizza by the slice is our go-to, but I've also had the chili cheese fries and empanadas. There is plenty of seating inside, and they are always playing great music. We don't live in Evanston, but we get pizza here at least once a month!

I usually have nothing bad to say about Gigios but today i am absolutely disgusted with how they messed up and did not honor the fact that they messed up. Today i called and order a grandma special pizza ( something i've ordered numerous times) and when the lady on the phone told me the price i kept asking her like are you sure that's the price. she kept telling me yes, i knew it didn't sound right so i had someone else got on the phone to make sure i said the right thing. she kept telling us yes. ok! i get there and my order was incorrect! telling me that's not what she wrote on the paper all and all basically refusing to make some type of accommodation even tho they were the ones who clearly made the mistake.

Besides that Mexican offerings on the menu wall...don't miss the weekend specials posted at the register. After many visits seeing it belatedly when we got to ordering, we finally gave their quesabirria a try. $12.50 gets you three tacos plus a generous (large?) bowl of birria soup (not just consomme - but with beef + veggies). Great meal here. Comfy with the booths in back and the music seems to be better than what you expect at a counter pizza joint.
